Pressure is a privilege. 🏁❤️

This photo was taken after Tamworth — a P3 and another podium for Willow 🥉… but behind that gorgeous smile was a very disappointed little racer.

She had led the race all the way from qualifying 3rd…She was in control, driving brilliantly and heading towards the win she wanted so badly.

Then came the final lap.

The pressure crept in. Captain Careful made an appearance 🙈 and, with the finish line almost in sight two drivers got through and suddenly a race she had been leading became P3.

That one hurt.

But racing isn’t only about learning how to go fast. It’s about learning how to handle pressure, trust yourself and keep racing right until the chequered flag.

And that’s exactly what we’ve taken from Tamworth.

Pressure is a privilege. It means you’re in a position worth fighting for. 💪

A lot has been learnt since this photo was taken, and this weekend we head back to Sandown with a stronger mindset, more confidence and everything Tamworth taught us.

No looking backwards. Eyes forward. 🔥

Let’s go, Willow. Time to race @jamiechadwickseries 🏁

A day we’ll never forget at Portimão 🇵🇹🏁

Watching F4 and the Euro Cup live… and then getting to meet the incredible Bianca Bustamante!

Moments like this are everything.
Seeing female drivers out there doing it for real, inspiring the next generation — it makes the dream feel that little bit closer.

Willow was completely inspired ❤️

New wheels in Portugal! 🇵🇹😎

I’ve been having so much fun driving our new Segway buggy. I think it’s safe to say I’ll find a steering wheel wherever we go! 😂

We’ve flown back to the UK for my @jamiechadwickseries race @daytonamsport Tamworth on Sunday. Can’t wait to get back on track! 🏁🏎️ #futuredriver #girlsinmotorsport #karting #offroaddriving #portugal taken in Algarve, Portugal by @willowwrightracing

Willows Mum here! I don’t actually get to watch Willow race very often.

With two children who need us in very different ways, me and Dad tend to divide and conquer on race weekends — and more often than not, I’m the one hearing all about it afterwards rather than standing trackside watching it happen.

So getting to be there at Sandown on Sunday for Round 7 of the Jamie Chadwick Series felt really special.

Even better, we had @sammytravels there too — so it turned into such a lovely day out together. ❤️

I got to watch her get suited up, do the track walk with her, feel all the nerves from the sidelines… and then watch her come away with another podium. 🏆

But the best bit wasn’t really the trophy.

It was getting to see, properly, just how happy she is when she’s racing.

So proud of you, Willow. Not just for the podium, but for the confidence, determination and happiness you’ve found behind the wheel. ❤️

P2 at Sandown Park! 🏁🥈

A brilliant day at the JCS round 5 at Sandown Park!

The day couldn’t have started much better with Willow putting in an excellent qualifying performance to secure pole position. 💪

The final was packed with action, with the top three battling hard throughout the race @super_mahikart @flic.racing Unfortunately, a spin dropped us down the order, but Willow kept her head down and produced an incredible recovery drive, fighting her way back through the field to finish 2nd on the podium.

It was one of those races where track position proved crucial. With clean air at the front, we’re confident we would have been right in the fight for the win.

A huge well done to everyone involved—another great step forward, plenty of positives to take away, and we are ready to come back even stronger this weekend for Round 6!

Thank you @daytonamsport for the professional pictures ❤️

The end of an era. 💙🏁

What a way to finish the TeamSport High Wycombe Grid Series! This is where Willow’s karting journey began, where her love for racing grew, and where she made some amazing friends and memories that we will never forget.

Willow finished the championship, missing out on 3rd place by just one point! 💪🏆

A huge congratulations to Willows karting besties @ollycatchracing and Zacary @lisa.j.hook2 on your fantastic results – so well deserved! ❤️

This was Willows last Grid Series before our big move to Portugal 🇵🇹. Thank you to everyone at TeamSport High Wycombe for all the support…On to the next chapter!

My racing journey wouldn’t be the same without you, Dad. Happy Father’s Day. ❤️🏁

Since I started my karting journey you’ve been there for every lap, every race, and every adventure.

From early mornings and long drives to track walks, practice sessions and race weekends, you’ve always been by my side. Some of my favourite memories aren’t just from race days though, they’re the times we’ve gone karting together on holiday, explored new tracks, and shared lots of laughs doing what we both love most. 🏎️☀️

Thank you for believing in me, helping me improve, picking me up when things don’t go to plan, and celebrating every achievement along the way. Whether you’re coaching me from the sidelines, walking the track with me before a race, or cheering me on from the fence, you’re always there.

Thank you for all the time, effort, patience and love you put into helping me chase my dream. None of this would be the same without you.

Happy Father’s Day to my biggest supporter, my mentor, my karting buddy, joint love for F1 and my number one fan. ❤️🏁

P.S. Thank you for funding this very expensive hobby… I’m still working on the whole sponsorship thing! 💸🏎️😂

Love,
Willow x ❤️

Recap for Round 4 of the Jamie Chadwick Series at Daytona Milton Keynes 🏁

P2 in Heat 1 after some great racing and P2 in Heat 2 while battling for the lead.

The final didn’t go quite to plan after getting caught up in an incident, dropping Willow back through the field. She kept pushing, clawed back almost 4 seconds, and came close to taking P2, but still managed to secure P3 and another podium finish 🥉

Also really pleased to set the fastest lap of the final and finished overall 2nd on points for the weekend⚡️

Lots of positives to take away from the weekend. Happy with the pace, but also aware that she needs to keep improving her race craft and positioning to avoid getting caught up in incidents and make sure she is finishing where the pace deserves.

Always learning. Always improving. On to the next one 💪🏁

First time karting @silverstonecircuit and what a day!

Willow and her friend took to the track for the very first time over the bank holiday weekend and absolutely loved it 💙
