Bruce Wayne archetype.

33 trips around the sun. Lessons learned, therapy done, responsibilities grew, and fortunately, so did the bank account.
The older Ive gotten the richer life feels. Better taste, bigger rooms, quieter moves. Still figuring out who Will is. I’ve found a few pieces, lost a few along the way, and I’m realizing the whole puzzle was never supposed to come together overnight.

There’s something about those random 1 or 2 a.m. gas station stops. Engine ticking as it cools, fluorescent lights buzzing overhead, no one else around that forces the noise inside your head to get loud. The world feels paused, like it’s holding its breath just for you. That’s when the thoughts creep in uninvited. The wins you earned, the losses you deserved, the people who aren’t here anymore because you pushed them away or because walking away was the only way to survive. You think about time like it’s currency you can’t refund. About where you’ll be in three to five years, and whether you’re building something meaningful or just staying busy to avoid the silence. In those moments, success doesn’t feel flashy....it feels heavy. Like responsibility. Like consequence.

You stand there realizing the odds of you even existing were never in your favor, roughly 1 in 400 trillion. Yet here you are, questioning whether connection is dying, whether love still exists in a world obsessed with itself. You wonder if people still know how to see each other, or if we’ve all become mirrors, staring only at our own reflection. Are there still good people left, or just survivors pretending not to care? And then comes the hardest question: when your time runs out, will you have mattered? Not in likes or money or noise, but in impact. Will you have loved deeply, even if it cost you? Will you have left something behind that proves you were here, that you felt, that you carried weight in silence and still kept moving forward? The pump clicks off, the tank is full, but your mind isn’t. And you pull away knowing those quiet, lonely moments might be the most honest conversations you’ll ever have with yourself.
