Silver Plastic Forks by major is out now

Thank you to everyone who’s gonna give it a spin, and thank you especially to the beautiful family of pals who worked hard to make it. Very happy and blessed that it’s out and excited to catch everyone next week to celebrate at the release show.

Here’s some videos from making it along with a video of our very first practice all together at the end! The song Silver Plastic Forks was actually one of the very first songs written for major, when Tom and I were on tour and staying at our friend Rand’s childhood home in Lexington, Kentucky. Very nice to see how all the dust settled. So many buds all making music inbetween working 2/3 jobs, in different bands, and doing re-records in last inning stretch in the middle of the night. Very blessed for it all and to have these times and these songs with everyone who has been around. I love yall big! Thank you!

Another amazing @gracegardnermusic song (Something You’re Proud Of) came out today that I had the privilege of playing on!!! The whole EP is seriously awesome so give it a listen!!! So stoked to play on the new @gracegardnermusic track, “Big Picture” featuring @buffchick700 . I met @_lonniedavis this past summer while camping and playing some Adrienne Lenker songs on guitar in Badlands, SD, and it came up while (I believe) eating some hot dogs that I played pedal steel. Anyways, I’m super honored that my debut steel track was with such amazing people. Grace and Lonnie are both so talented and so kind. Today puts me and elizabeth together for two years :) It’s also time I acknowledge this amazing roadtrip that my best friend and I went on this summer. It was easily one of (if not the) coolest things I’ve ever done. Pictures do none of these incredible sites justice, but they’re still pretty cool and I’m happy to have so so so many of them.
Anyways, I love her, she’s in New York right now recovering from surgery, and I sure wish I was by her side.
Not pictured honorable mentions go to plenty of bison, foxes, deer, elk, and prairie dogs, driving through a Mormon cricket infestation (for 20 miles), seeing Daniel Donato in Aspen, the John Denver sanctuary, copious amounts of green chilis and refried beans (and vault toilets), (standing on a corner in) Winslow, Arizona, the insane mountain above flagstaff from the desert, me changing the mass airflow sensor in ABQ, my car misfiring for 5 days with no service, 2 rodeos, horseback riding, monument valley, some insane farmers tans, sunburns, and some sun rash, a waffle shaped like Texas, the four corners monument, plenty of Coors light, old Milwaukee, and Busch peach, fried bologna sandwiches, stinky Yellowstone springs, snow in June???, a murderous amount of Wilco and MJ Lenderman, my amazing car that we lived out of for more than 7,000 miles, and plenty of amazing people we met along the way (all not in that order). I’m definitely forgetting things.
Can’t wait to do this again, thank you, elizabeth. I love you by @willvelleca

i went to new york and saw/met a bunch of amazing people and had tons of hot dogs and did a bunch of silly things and then went home and caught a fish for the first time and i’m abt to go back to new york so i’m going to post some pictures from the first time and i have a bunch of pictures of the people i met but i don’t have pictures of everyone so i feel bad posting the ones i have of just some of the people so i just now have an abundant camera roll and see u guys soon and i love you guys and taken in New York, New York by @willvelleca
