I am so thrilled to share that my short film script, The Night of the Lonelies, has been shortlisted for the Australian Writers’ Guild’s Emerging Writers’ Awards. Developed in my first year @vca_ftv screenwriting course, the script is based on a real encounter I had while traveling through London as a wee man.

Thank you to all my beautiful, supportive mentors, friends and family who have encouraged me to pursue this wild dream over the years, whether it be reading my scripts or aiding my films or inspiring me with your endless generosity and kindness. Screenwriting in particular can be an incredibly isolating, thankless, maddening task so it’s a real honour to be recognised by the Guild after years spent squirrelled away scribing fucked up tales into the void. Much love, Willy Brown ❤️ by @willyboybrown

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting my short film “All My Idols Are America” with this beautiful, vibrant and dynamic cast. Backed by a dedicated and talented crew, we captured a wild, funny tale of greed, manipulation and ketamine fixation.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped bring my silly thoughts to life with passion and immense creativity, I’m so excited for you all to see this one. I promise, it’s a hell of a ride.

OH, DADDY! 💋

Over five years ago, I had the privilege of teaming up with a beautiful, creative and talented cast and crew to shoot an original short film script in Brighton, England. Despite the expectation of a short turnaround, it took me until deep into the pandemic to finally finish what was an arduous and challenging edit. Now, a year later, I'm ready to set it free. I am so thankful for the limitless patience and generosity of so many people who helped fund and lend their many skills to bring this weird tale to life. I hope you all enjoy it ❤️

SYNOPSIS: The Son of God returns for one night to be interviewed in the world's coolest restaurant, only to find himself dragged into the schemes of Clamanda Vein and the Bang Bang Twins, the most influential and destructive artists of the 21st century.
