MVP! MVP! MVP!

Earlier this week at the Gators’ Athletic Banquet, Dixon Briggs was announced as this year’s varsity boys baseball MVP! Congrats to Dixon on this amazing and well deserved achievement! He was a spark plug for the team all season long, as he was constantly a threat at the plate and on the bases, while holding it down at shortstop too.

While the Gators started off the day strong against a good Sinclair team, the boys unfortunately fell to a strong Anderson squad in the LOSSA championship game. Congrats to Anderson on earning the title, they played a great game today. Special shoutout to Jeremy Bishop as well for his stellar pitching against Anderson, as he went 6 strong innings and kept the Gators in the game.

While this wasn’t the result we had hoped for, we are still grateful for an amazing season. The boys had plenty of success, as they finished as LOSSA runner-ups and had an 8-2 record on the season. We’ll be back.

GATORS WIN!!! The boys bounced back after the tough loss yesterday and beat Pickering 10-0 to keep their LOSSA championship hopes alive! Shoutout to Maddox Pinch on earning game MVP for his stellar performance on the mound, as he threw a complete game (5 innings due to mercy rule) shutout while only allowing one hit!

Due to a large delay, the boys will be playing again tomorrow, starting at 11:30am against Sinclair.
