Hello! My name is Wimsy May, I am a faeling artist! I love burlesque, aerial arts like silks and Lyra. Absolutely love the renfaire! I am aspiring to become a sideshow artist as well! In my down time I am typically painting, taking photos of my fur babies, playing in my flower garden, dancing to heavy metal, listening to audiobooks, watching horror movies or the x-files, or simply working on some taxidermy! I’m a master at the changeling effect! I am non-binary, bisexual, and love being my neurodivergent self! I also have pots and love decorating my mobility aids! I am loving all the hard work I have been putting into my art✨🖤 welcome to my cabinet of curiosities for I do A LOT of different things 🤘🏻 by @wimsymay

I definitely will be at the next one 🤘🏻🫶🏻 by @wimsymay

Back in May I had my first burlesque performance at the beachland ballroom for @clevelandburlesque. I graduated from @bellasincle class @clevelandburlesqueacademy. If you have any interest in burlesque please talk to Bella and @heatherandlace15 💜 I’m still in awe of this experience and the incredible work of @starboy.images 🫶🏻💜. My performance was inspired by Hedy Lamarr in Ziegfeld Girl, my song choice was Moon Over Burma by Dorothy Lamour💜🌙 by @wimsymay

I know this is my burly page but I was told today is black cat appreciation day! And I want to take a moment for my baby boy Poe! You are one of the best decisions I made for my life. When I lost my childhood cat in 2021 I felt like half of me was missing.. and when I saw you I knew I had to bring you home. We moved just so I could have you and you have brought color back into my life when I thought I didn’t need it. You help papa and I feel more like a family and we love our chaotic spooky boy. Poe is our cat-dog, he loves balls, fetch, walkies, sunbathing on the deck, growling at the mailman, and many other things. I love our morning and evening routines together. From our first snuggle, to fall, Christmas and getting a sister. Poe is the sweetest boy I know. He alerts me when my heart rate is high. Poe is there when I’m in bed with a flare up from my pots or endometriosis. He will keep me company by laying on my chest and my abdomen, he will also purr to help soothe me the best way he knows how. He helps me regulate when I’m overwhelmed and overstimulated. When I pass out he’s right there when I open my eyes. Even when I’m having trouble with my audhd he’s there every time even when papa’s trying to help me. I can’t express enough how deeply I care and appreciate everything this boy does for our little family. 4 years together and I am loving you more everyday bugaboo, Sabrina had Salem and I am so grateful I have you 🖤🫶🏻✨ by @wimsymay

It’s this Leo’s birthday!!! Putting out one big candle at a time! 🔥 I’m officially 28! 🥰 and I have been truly eating it up this year! I have achieved so many of my childhood dreams! I can fully say with certainty I am proud of myself and my little life! I have been working really hard for myself, and if I could just have a moment with my child self…that kiddo wouldn’t believe me. But we made it kiddo..I made it! 🥹#burlesque #newyork #coneyisland #sideshow #leo by @wimsymay

Well I had another great side quest and graduated from Coney Island sideshow school!! I’m working hard on being a sword swallower 🤘🏻🤞🏻💪🏻 I met amazing people and now we are coney bonded🥰🖤 I miss all of them already! Adam was fantastic and so was Patrick! Coney Island will always have a piece of my heart and I’m so thankful I have another place I feel I belong 🫶🏻✨ it blows my mind how everyone in our class was declared sword swallowers!! First time 100% success rate 🖤🤘🏻 I’m so proud of everyone!! by @wimsymay

Here’s more progress and finished work!! I am still in awe 🥰✨🌛 Moon over Burma by Dorothy Lamour was my song of choice 🥰 by @wimsymay

Here’s the process of my very first costume design and project! I think I did fantastic for my first time! I made my corset too!!✨ I thought of a design and I drew it out on brown wrapping paper and got to cutting 💪🏻 started this in February while working a full time corporate job 😅 then in April I quit my job and got a part time job. I finished sewing at the end of April, had some flare ups with my pots and worked on my peekaboo star in bed. I embroidered that sucker! Then before I knew it, it was the week of my debut! I spent the 3 days before my debut losing brain cells with E6000 glue just rhinestoning away! 🤘🏻 blood, sweat, tears, curse words and fae blessings were definitely put into my masterpiece ✨ by @wimsymay
