Most people don't really enjoy squats. I started with front squats in combination with deadlifts before I used heavier weights for the standard squats. It is a really good method to strengthen your lower back, and optimize your core performance.

I used an asymmetric combo today to isolate the weak and the strong side. Usually you start with the weak side, but in this case I've always started with the strong side after the standard set, tool gif so weak side a little break.

Longer workouts also cause your nervous system so much energy. You get into some kind of fight or flight modus. Even when you're finished with your workout, your body stays for a wire in set mode. Set is an unnecessary rise for your cortisol level which benefits a katabole effect. But for a nice anabolic effect you need a low cortisol level. That's why I use a cortisol healing playlist to signal my body that everything is okay. Just 10 minutes walking with that playlist and my ears helps a lot. A green tea especially matcha which supports the alpha waves in your brain also lowers your cortisol level which also benefits your recovery process.

It is a nice Tuesday morning. And I'm going to the gym like every Tuesday. It's a pretty small gym but I like it. Mostly it's pretty chilled to walk out there.
For sure you have sometimes these guys who tend to say I workout too much, I use to heavy weights, or maybe I'm too loud, but I give a fuck about these people. Join the next yoga class or whatever, I don't care. Mostly it's about their own ego and has nothing to do with me.
