Das neue Zine zeigt Prozesse, stellt Fragen, will verbinden: Disziplinen, Positionen, Perspektiven, Rhythmen. Es ist backstage, zeigt die scores hinter den Arbeiten, die Notizen und Zwischenstadien. Der Körper dient als Ansatzpunkt und Schauplatz. Kunst als Werkzeug im Alltag und als Mittel der politischen Partizipation - offen, unfertig, verletzlich, suchend.

What appears to be labor might be ritual. What looks like construction could be dismantling. The gestures are precise. Their purpose has been forgotten or was never known.

These drawings record the moment after instruction and before completion. Each figure, each creature, performs its designated task without protest or understanding. The apparatus neither promises nor threatens. It simply persists.

No one asks what the mechanisms produce. No one questions why the collaboration continues. The work exists because it exists. Stopping would require a decision, and decisions require remembered reasons.

But nobody remembers why.

With a text on the back cover by Mattis Kuhn and a small print.

I’m really happy that @windparkbooks printed a second edition of my book “85 days”.

“85 days” shows my daily interaction with the same piece of clay over a course of 85 days. On each of these days I created a clay sculpture and took a picture. I started with 2.5 kg and ended with 1.1 kg. By constantly reusing and reforming the clay, it lost weight, absorbed foreign substances and became something new each day. The order of the pictures in this book is chronological – reflecting my physical environments and my social interactions like a diary.

˚▋ is a 3D-printed desk lamp designed by Felix Hofmann-Wissner for drawing practices.

A 180-degree rotation of the head allows the user to direct the light downward, upward, or to any position in between.

The lamp is activated by pressing the colored button. Ornaments on the surface of the button remain hidden, only becoming visible upon disassembly of the lamp.

This is not a functional object – although it is indeed functional. Numbered internally, this piece serves as an analysis and interrogation of the functional boundaries within the context of aesthetic autonomy.

The first batch consists of 10 lamps: 4 yellow, 3 green, 2 blue-grey, and one color that will remain a secret.

There is no certainty that a second batch will ever be produced.

Thanks to @radematic for the typefaces used on and inside the lamp:
Muto Mono on the internal components and New Truus on the bottom lid of the lamp.

疲れ様でした！
What an amazing time we had at @tokyoartbookfair 2024. So many interesting and nice conversations with people from all over the world. We received countless compliments, which we can only pass on to everyone who contributed to our catalogue of publications.
It was quite the thriller as the last books arrived just 4 hours before closing (thanks @deutschepost_dhl …). And yet, almost all the books sold out!

A big thank you to the best neighbors: hat-dealer @volker_renner and bag-dealer @editiontaube .

Stressed Desserts von Chiara Marcassa (@sovraccarico) und Olga Hohmann (@olgahohoh) das bei uns vor fast einem Monat erschienen ist und im @hussle_hof seinen Release während der Frankfurter Buchmesse gefeiert hat, hat am 25.11.24 um 20 Uhr seine zweite Buchveröffentlichungfeierlichkeit in der @volksbuehne_berlin . Chiara und Olga werden lesen und dabei von @antoniaalessiavirginia musikalisch unterstützt.

Die langen, manikürierten Fingernägel einer tippenden Empfangsmit- arbeiterin erschaffen einen kleinen Abstand zwischen den Fingerkuppen und der Tastatur. Somit zeigen sie, dass man sich über die Arbeit mit den Händen erhoben hat und in den Bereich der geistigen Arbeit vorge- drungen ist. Zeitgleich, in einem innenstädtischen Büro, legt eine auf Papier allergische Buchhalterin die Arbeit nieder: Sie fordert die Umgestal- tung ihres Büros ein und die unmittelbare Digitalisierung aller Arbeits- prozesse, um kein Papier mehr anfassen zu müssen. Was ist überhaupt Arbeit und was ist sie nicht? Was haben immer wieder leer werdende Blumenvasen und Spam-E-Mails gemeinsam? Die Autorinnen Olga Hohmann und Chiara Marcassa befassen sich mit unsichtbarer Arbeit und unsichtbaren Arbeiter:innen: Assistent:innen, Content-Creators, Flugbeglei- ter:innen, Sekretär:innen. Stressed Desserts kennzeichnet sich durch
sich immer vervielfältigende Widersprüche. Zwischen Serialität und Wiederholung, Dienst nach Vorschriftund Berufung, Fragmentierung und Zusammenhang, Melancholie und Exzessen – Wege, Weisen und Wehen der weiblichen* Arbeit.

Der Inhalt dieses Buches wurde am 24.08.2024 innerhalb von 28 Arbeitsstunden auf einem Risograph EZ 570 E der Riso Kagaku Corporation gedruckt. Die Produktion der Gesamtauflage erfolgte mit 130 kg Papier und 1247 g Farbe. taken in Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz by @windparkbooks
