How lucky are we? ☀️

Three times a week the Changing of the Guard marches right past our front door, and today it came with blue skies and October sunshine.

Never gets old. Never will.

Step inside the Grade I listed Windsor Guildhall, where history sets the scene for more than weddings.

The Guildhall has hosted the wedding of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, and the civil partnership of Sir Elton John and David Furnish. Today, royal portraits and chandeliers on loan from the Royal Collection Trust provide a remarkable backdrop for drinks receptions, afternoon tea, private tours, speaker events, investitures, corporate gatherings and celebrations of all kinds.

Host your event here - just like tonight’s corporate dinner for 30 guests. Make a moment of your own, in a place already woven into history.

Contact us to find out more about hosting your event at Windsor Guildhall.

The majority of my work comes from meeting couples at weddings I’m already shooting…

Well, I met Joel & Harri when Joel was quite literally climbing through a friend’s legs to gatecrash their photo. 😂

So, when they got back in touch to ask me to photograph their own wedding, I was really hoping that same level of chaos would make an appearance…

And, thankfully, they did not disappoint. 😂

From gatecrashing photos to making their own wedding one to remember !!! These two were an absolute joy to photograph!

Thomas 💕 Regina

Windsor Guildhall is not exactly short of history. Charles and Camilla chose it for their civil wedding, Windsor Castle is looming over the road, and next door is Windsor Parish Church — where Jules happened to be the organist back in 1994 while studying at Royal Holloway.

Thirty-two years later, he returned with rather more electronic equipment and Anne-Marie playing her cello.

Thomas and Regina’s ceremony took place upstairs in the magnificent Guildhall, with Liz on Top of the World from Pride & Prejudice for Regina’s entrance, followed by some wonderfully individual signing choices including Olivia Dean and Talking Heads, before they left as a married couple to Amor Eterno by Juan Gabriel.

Then came the traditional wedding-musician manoeuvre: piano, cello and assorted equipment downstairs for drinks in the covered Corn Market.
The reception playlist, chosen by the couple, was gloriously eclectic — Irish folk songs, Sweet Disposition, Elton John, La La Land, Olivia Dean, My Way and Accidentally in Love.

A fabulous Windsor wedding, a lovely couple, and a particularly nice return to a corner of the town Jules knew rather well three decades ago.
Thank you Thomas & Regina for having us as part of your special day. @windsorguildhall

🎀 Huge congrats to S & R who married at Windsor Guildhall, Berkshire, their wedding was filled to the brim with love and happiness. It was a joy to be their wedding photographer. After their civil ceremony by Deborah at Royal Borough Registrars it was total summer jazz vibes as they’d hired the Cornmarket area underneath for the drinks reception had and a brilliant sax player (Alex King). Afterwards we headed to Macdonald Windsor Hotel for their reception, complete with heartfelt speeches and S being serenaded by R!! 💖💖 #windsorguildhall #windsorguildhall #berkshireweddings #windsorweddingphotographer taken in Windsor Guildhall by @windsorguildhall

Remembering Queen Elizabeth II today, on the fourth anniversary of her passing.

Amongst our significant collection of historic artwork, we have two paintings at The Windsor Guildhall of the late Queen.

This one was painted by Theodore Ramos (1928–2018). It was a gift from the Royal Albert Institute Trust to Windsor Guildhall in 2002. The Queen wears the Prince Albert Sapphire Brooch, which was a gift from Prince Albert to Queen Victoria (her Great-Great-Grandparents) the day before their wedding.

The Windsor Guildhall was visited several times by Queen Elizabeth II.

Please contact our events team by email: guildhall@rbwm.gov.uk for further detail.

Francesca, Richard and their beautiful Windsor city wedding.

It's such an honour to photograph weddings, but it feels extra special to me when it is someone who chooses my art time and time again.
I first met Francesca and Richard the year before their wedding, when they came to see me in my studio for their newborn photoshoot. They asked me then and there if I was available on their date and I was so excited when I realised yes, I was!

Their intimate city wedding was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Filled with all the people they love, incredible food, an evening of gambling in lieu of dancing and an early night in bed! (Exactly how we ended our big day)
