See you tomorrow! ☀️🍷☕️🍴 Doors open at 12pm, with wine, coffee and delicious tacos waiting for you. It’s going to be a hot one, but thankfully we’re tucked inside a railway arch, where it stays around 10°C cooler than outside. @sullaluna.wine is the result of dreams, study, ideas, successes, mistakes, and vulnerability, all distilled into a single bottle. Sara is originally from Syracuse, Sicily. She had worked as a lawyer in Northern Italy for years, but when she arrived in Pantelleria, she realised this was where she wanted to put down roots. She bought a small plot of Zibibbo vines in the Valle di Monastero - a basin formed by the collapse of a volcanic caldera – an area defined by a unique microclimate and remarkable soil composition. She began studying for her WSET qualification. And in time, she started to believe in it. The first vintage of "sullaluna" yielded 1,060 bottles and within them lived the island itself: a layered aromatic profile, a pronounced mineral backbone, and a raw, almost primordial energy on the palate. The grapes are harvested by hand, with no machinery used either in the vineyard or in the winery. Fermentation is spontaneous, and the wine is left unfiltered. @calxurriu is a winegrowing project based in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, in the Alt Penedès, founded by Paula, a chef, and Agustí, a winegrower. We belong to a family with more than six generations dedicated to viticulture and, since 2018, we have been producing our own wines to preserve unique vineyard plots and express their identity. Above all, we are winegrowers. Our work is rooted in the constant observation of the vineyard, the landscape, and different farming approaches—organic, biodynamic, regenerative, and traditional—adopting what we believe is most beneficial for each vineyard and at every moment. Rather than following a fixed method, we seek to understand our surroundings and intervene as little as possible, encouraging biodiversity, spontaneous cover crops, and healthy soils. Our intention is to grow beautiful grapes so that we can intervene as little as possible in the winery. That is why we work with direct pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, allowing the vineyard to express itself with the greatest purity. This is our way of interpreting wine today. Born and raising in the UK, @camillamurray__ moved to France to make wine in 2019. After studying viticulture and oenology in the Loire Valley, and training and working in Burgenland, Rheinhessen and Saumur, she is now based in Savoie, where she works alongside and under the mentorship of Jean-Yves Péron. Focussing on indigenous Savoie varieties, and a minimum-intervention approach in the cellar, Camilla’s first cuvées from Jacquère are made with the intention of showcasing this little known, but inspiring variety. @buccianera is a family-owned organic winery nestled in the rolling hills of Arezzo, Tuscany. With roots dating back to the late 1800s, the estate is now run by the dynamic Mancini sisters, Anastasia, Alessia, and Roberta who combine generations of tradition with a fresh, sustainable vision. Certified organic, Buccia Nera focuses on low-intervention winemaking, allowing the character of Tuscany's terroir, especially its beloved Sangiovese grape to shine through in every bottle. Daisy is originally from Norwich, UK. After years of working in the hospitality industry, she went on to study the WSET Advanced, which led her to London and New York working for well known companies such as Majestic Wine and Chambers Street Wines. @somavines.selections was founded in Berlin in 2018 as an importing and distributing company. Eventually, the company further developed into a winemaking project with Antoine, and their first vintage was in 2020. Antoine is originally from Marseille. He studied oenology at the winemaking school in Alsace, France. After some years working for different wineries in Germany such as Sekthaus Griesel and Domaine Brand in France, he joined forces with SOMA to begin making his own range of low intervention wines with Daisy. Since 2023, Antoine and Daisy have been picking grapes from their rented 4 hectares of vines located in and around Eckelsheim. In the cellar they work low intervention. Spontaneous fermentation, no fining, no filtration and no added sulfites. The cellar is located in Rheinland-Pfalz. The labels are created by Daisy's sister, Lilly Winter. @lucychilverswine Chivers is a UK-born natural wine producer based in Catalonia's Anoia region. After studying Viticulture and Oenology and training with the renowned Radikon family in Italy, she moved to Catalonia to focus on Xarel·lo, a grape she deeply admires. Working organically and with minimal intervention, Lucy produces around 10,000 bottles annually from her cellar, El Bardoc. I've been in the wine industry since 2004. I travelled across France and around the world to build deep expertise before settling in the Languedoc in 2019 with my family. In 2020, a breast cancer diagnosis reshuffled everything, my priorities, my choices, the people I surround myself with. That experience taught me one essential truth, life is too short to settle for anything less than excellent. Today, I craft natural organic wines with that same uncompromising standard, firmly believing that what you put in your glass is never something to negotiate on.
