When you go wine tasting do you actually go and check out the vineyard? ⁣
⁣
I enjoy checking out the vineyard and seeing the different grapes. Depending on the time of year you visit the vineyard you may see different stages in the lifecycle of the vine. ⁣
⁣
It’s harvest season here in the Northern Hemisphere so many vineyards have already harvested their grapes or getting ready for harvest.

Next time your wine tasting be sure to check out the vineyard and learn a little bit more about the wine your drinking. ⁣
⁣
Fun Fact - it takes anywhere from 800-1200 grapes to make one bottle.

Save this boutique hotel for your next Boise getaway. 🗝️✨

I stayed in the Queen Cozy room at @theaveryhotelboise, a historic boutique hotel in downtown Boise. Beautiful architectural touches, a cozy stay, and an on-site brasserie there’s plenty to enjoy before you even head out to explore.

Planning an Idaho wine country trip? Pair your winery adventures with a downtown Boise stay for a little wine, dining, and city exploring. 🍷

Save this for your Boise itinerary and follow @winespencer_ for more places to stay, sip, and explore.

Did you know Idaho has a wine country? 🍷 Because I definitely didn’t know THIS much was happening just outside Boise, Idaho.

I spent the day exploring Idaho wine country, visiting vineyards, meeting winemakers and tasting wines from some of the wineries helping shape this growing wine region.

🍇 First stop: Skyline Vineyard, where I learned about Idaho’s volcanic soils and why grapes like Tempranillo and Verdejo grow so well here. We also tasted wines from @telayawine

🍷 Next: @fujishinestatewinery for lunch and an Idaho wine tasting featuring @fujishinestatewinery, @holesinskywinery @veerwineproject and @clearwatercanyoncellars

🥂 We finished at @sawtoothwinery and @stechapellewinery One of my favorite here was the Riesling.

And yes, I stayed hydrated between tastings with @crystal_drinkingwater . As someone who LOVES sparkling water, they already had me. 😂

If you’re looking for a new wine country to visit @idahowines deserves a spot on your list.

SAVE this for your Idaho wine trip 🍷 and FOLLOW @winespencer_ because I’m sharing more wineries, favorite wines, Boise experiences and everything you need to plan your own Idaho wine-country getaway. @visitboise

Did you know your next wine tasting trip is also agritourism? 🍇🍷

Agritourism is all about experiencing agriculture where it happens and visiting a vineyard is one of the best ways to do it.

From walking through the vines and meeting winemakers to learning how grapes are grown, enjoying farm-to-table food, and tasting wine where it was produced, wine tourism connects you to so much more than what’s in your glass.

And some of the best experiences are happening in wine regions you may not have discovered yet. 👀

Wine Spencer is here to help you explore U.S. wine regions, discover wineries, and experience the people, places, and stories behind the wine.

Save this for your next wine country trip and visit Wine Spencer to start exploring.

Valley is always better with good wine, good conversation, and your favorite wine travel partner. 🍷✨

For us, wine tasting has never been just about what’s in the glass. It’s about the people, the stories, and the places.

Our Napa Valley adventures took us to @brownestate, Napa Valley’s first Black-owned estate winery, where beautiful wines and an incredible story come together. And yes… there was plenty of sister talk along the way. 🤎🍷

If you’re planning a Napa Valley wine tasting trip and wondering which wineries should make your itinerary, Wine Spencer is here to help you discover wineries, experiences, and wine country stops worth adding to your list.

Because wine is just the beginning. It’s time to decant the experience. 🥂
