🆕 here’s some clips and tips from my first week of para-wing foiling. Found some lovely music to overlay the swearing 🤣 check out my initial thoughts below or ask any questions!

Here’s some tips.
1. It’s not wingfoiling.
2.Parawings have a smaller wind range compared to inflatable wings for size. My 3m is good from 14-17 knots.
3. Parawing performance depends on quality of wind. Steady wind from one direction helps alot. Also a big board. I’m using my @armstrongfoils 98L downwind board.
4. Foil skills will help. Starts are at 45 degrees to wind pulling against wing sitting closer to wind, a bit of foil pumping is required because of tip #2. You’ll either have an easy start then be overpowered riding or more effort starting and good riding power.
5. This does not replace wing foiling. It’s a downwinding tool intended to pack away once foiling, or supplement a paddle. Maybe over time the tech will improve to broaden wind range. I intend to use as a backup tool for downwind sup foiling or fun flat water sessions.
6. It’s heavy will filled with water, I don’t think this is safe wave riding, even if you stash up your vest and wave ride. In impact zones.
