Four years have passed since images of chassis 0934 last surfaced, but it has finally reappeared.

The shade featured here is none other than Bahama Yellow, and chassis 0934 is one of three examples globally to be finished in the shade, and one of two in the United States. The other examples are 0169, a United States chassis, and 1098, a German chassis.

Chassis 0934 will always have a special place for me as this was not only one of the first Speedsters I ever saw in person, but it was also the first Paint-to-Sample Speedster I saw. Now, over six years later, that memory is still so vivid in my mind, and for that reason alone I hold chassis 0934 in a very high regard.

This Bahama Yellow example was first delivered to Manhattan Motorcars in late 2019, where it was then purchased by its first owner who retained it until late 2021, where it was then listed for sale through Merit Partners in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, chassis 0934 disappeared off my radar, until now. Over the past four years or so this example has been owned and located in Washington State.

For those who are a little less familiar with this build, everything you see here is factory with one exception completed by the most recent seller. The Houndstooth inserts on the interior and the painted pass throughs on the Lightweight Bucket Seats are both factory CXX options, however, the current listing states that the seller had the calipers repainted Bahama Yellow to match the car. Personally I am not the largest fan of that, I would have rathered the calipers were kept original, but truthfully I doubt many of us would have noticed had the listing not stated such.

Nonetheless, chassis 0934 is currently listed for sale through @northwesteuropean with a little over 5,100 miles on the clock. Obviously builds are always subjective, but personally I would hold this to be among the top ten. I typically am not a fan of rubber dash cars, as 0934 is, but the rest of the build is just so tastefully done.

No, your dull 992 isn’t special. This is what real rarity looks like.

There are 90 Paint to Sample 911Rs built. These cars are scatted across the globe, with some countries like North America having the largest majority. However, there is only a single UK C16 RHD example, and this is that very car. It is even more spectacular than I imagined.

The car is painted in the shade of Sapphire Blue Metallic. This is a color that was offered as a typical choice on the 991.1 at the time, which may make it seem like a mundane choice. But it still looks incredible on the R. Interestingly enough, there is another 911 R in this shade, living within the Fox collection down under. The paint however isn’t what makes this car truly special, it’s the brakes.

Painted callipers have long been a mystic in the Porsche world. You have to be someone to get them. This is why we see them appearing on various cars ordered by the Porsche Family and, in the case of this car, some very special VIPs. This example was originally ordered by the F1 Legend Mark Webber, who also had a black 991.1 GT3 RS with similar calliper treatment. In the case of this car, they are finished in a light blue to match the body color, with black “PORSCHE” text.

This text matches other decals we see on the exterior of the car, including the over the body stripes and the classic sides stripes. 2 additions that were a staple of the 911 R. Black LED headlights are also present.

Inside the car we are met with a very simple cabin. The main option inside is the LWB seats, a must in the eyes of many. It is also a seat that goes well with the famous single mass flywheel, an option that is also fitted to this car. We then see Sport Chrono Package and PCM.

This car is truly an unrepeatable example. Between the PTS color and the special callipers, it makes it one of the best 911 Rs out there. With this example being based in the UK, hopefully I get to see it with my own eyes someday. If the owner is reading this, I’m begging you.

Of the roughly 325 Paint-to-Sample 991 Speedsters produced, the chassis were distributed across just twenty-six countries. The United Kingdom received only eight of these original deliveries, and we finally have photos of every single one.

The example featured here is none other than chassis 1273, one of the eight original C16 chassis, and the only one in the region to be finished in Dark Sea Blue. This example features the Satin Aluminium finish on the wheels, along with the PDLS+ LED Headlights. The interior features a two tone split in Black and Cognac Leather, identical to that of the Heritage Package cars. The interior is then nicely completed with the Lightweight Bucket Seats and the Sport Chrono.

This Dark Sea Blue C16 chassis has eluded me for quite some time, but we finally have photos of it courtesy of @azuricarcare, and I truly cannot thank them enough.

When it comes to the eight chassis originally delivered to the United Kingdom, we have the following examples:

Arrow Blue - Chassis 1455 (Now in Malaysia)
Auratium Green - Chassis 1580
Azzuro Thetys Metallic - Chassis 1744
Brewster Green - Chassis 1413
Dark Sea Blue - Chassis 1273
Irish Green - 1497
Meissen Blue - Chassis 1698
Slate Grey 6601 - Chassis 1431

It has been a long time in the making, but finally we have photos and details of all eight chassis on the @PTSSpeedster website. I believe I have posted all of these chassis individually over the years, but I will probably do a round up post on the @PTSSpeedster page as well in the coming days to be more concise too for those interested.

A huge thanks goes to @azuricarcare once more for sharing photos of the final C16 PTS Speedster chassis that has been eluding me for all of this time. It is so cool to finally have photos of it, and what a classy spec it is.

Finally, a car worth posting. It’s been many years since a 991 last appeared on this page, and thankfully that streak ends today with perhaps one of the greatest examples in the world.

The car is finished in Paint to Sample Golf Blue. Not to be confused with the iconic Gulf Blue, this shade dates back to the 60s, making it perfect for a car like the 991 Touring.

Contrasting sharply against the body color is a set of GT style wheels finished in the optional Satin Aluminium, a finish that makes the wheels even bolder. Through these wheels we can see the Speed Yellow callipers of the PCCB brakes, a must-have on a GT car in my eyes. 2 other must haves on this car are the painted lower mirrors and painted side skirts, options that just transform the exterior. Touring Package in black makes an appearance. This blacks out the window surround, rear badges, as well as the exhaust tips. Sitting well with these accents is the LED lights in black with PDLS +.

Stepping into the cabin, we are greeted with simplicity, something that’s needed in 2025. Extended black leather traverses throughout the cabin, including in optional areas such as the air vent surrounds, inner door sills, dashboard ends, steering column, chrono surround, floor mat edges as well as the fuse box cover. All leather surfaces also have contrast stitching, and in this case it’s the light color of GT Silver Matching the stitching is a pair of Silver Grey seat belts, a belt that has been paired with the 18-way Adaptive Seats. Carbon Fibre trim makes an appearance, an accent that is matched with the illumined GT3 door sills. Other smaller touches in this interior include the aluminium pedals and Sport Chrono Package.

I truly believe this is one of the finest 911s in the world. The 991 has been my favourite 911 generation since I was introduced to these cars, and writing this post today has only confirmed that even more. I hope going forward I get to post more of these fantastic creations, and not more 992 Sonderwunsch builds that look like they were generated by ChatGPT.

Some of the highlights from this year’s @porschesbythelake event. This show is getting bigger every year, so naturally, it brings cooler and cooler cars, these are some of my personal highlights.

First off, we have the stunning Stone Grey 911 S/T I featured back in May. For the ins and outs of the car I refer you to that post, but seeing the car in the flesh was truly special. With the cabin definitely the highlight.

Then we have @crazycarfool’s Auratium Green Speedster. Having posted this car back when it was delivered in 2020, its fantastic to finally see it in the flesh, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. This Speedster is actually the first I’ve ever seen in person, which makes the event even more special.

One of the other highlights was this quite special 991 Touring. While it may look unsuspecting at first, there are some touches that make it quite spectacular. I shared this car awhile back, but I was thrilled to see it in person. It’s painted in the standard shade of Agate Grey, a color that continues on to the wheels. The wheels are also accented with a Notto green lip, a color that is also seen in the cabin. This car was ordered by everyone’s favourite Podcast host, and what a job he did.

Continuing on the Touring theme we have a Dark Sea blue 992. This car was certainly another surprise. Imported to the UK from Belgium in around 2022, this is one of the only Sonderwunsch 992 Tourings sporting UK plates. Just like the 991, this car also has body color wheels, along with a matching Graphite interior.

Please enjoy some of the other epic metal that was around on the day. Can’t wait to see what shows up next time. taken in Little Easton Manor by @winglessgt3

X Blue is one of the newer blues offered on the PTS pallet. The shade first appeared on the “Belgian Legend” Edition 992, and has been on the PTS offering ever since. The color is a tad darker than its stable mate, Dark Sea Blue.

The color then continues onto the wheels, but not in a traditional sense. The outside parts of the Magnesium wheels as well as the barrel are finished in Gloss Silver, with the spoke faces being finished in X Blue. Through these wheels, we can also see the gloss black brake callipers, a standard for the S/T. Other smaller touches on the exterior include the Exclusive Design taillights, Matrix LED headlights, as well as the painted lower mirrors and Chrome window trim.

Inside the cabin, we are met with some wonderful Sonderwunsch Touches. Royale WNP leather appears on the seats. This is then accented with an embossed 911 S/T logo, which appears on both of the headrests. The seats are also fitted with a Tartan insert. This is a pattern that also continues onto the door cards, which have also been given some touches of Royale WNP. The 992 3RS carbon fiber roll cage is also present, a must-have for many S/T owners.

Oak Green Metallic is the shade that appears on this 911 S/T. Oak is a color that first was seen on air cooled models in the 70s. It reemerged again on the PTS pallet of the 991.2 generation, and is now offered across the model line up. The shade isn’t to be confused with the color of Oak Green Metallic Neo, which is a tad darker than the OG shade.

A host of Neodyme accents appear throughout the exterior. First are the Magnesium wheels, the standard wheel for an S/T. Sitting alongside them are classic “PORSCHE “text side stripes, also finished in the gold. The largest element Neodyme however is the front intake, which creates a stark contrast against the paintwork. The rear Porsche badging is also finished in a chrome gold.

Smaller touches on this exterior include the chrome window trim and the Exclusive Design taillights at the rear.

The individuality of this car continues into the interior. We are met with Mojave beige leather, a leather also offered on the Touring as an Exclusive Manufaktur option. Just like in the Touring, the leather appears throughout the lower elements of the cabin. This also includes the LWB seats, which have been teemed with a houndstooth insert.

Mojave also appears in smaller areas, such as stitching around the steering wheel, which then is matched by a 12o’clock marker. It’s also seen on the shifter boot and knob, and the floor mat edges. Custom door sills reading “Sonderwunsch” help finish off this cabin.

Today’s 911 S/T is painted in the shade of Stone Grey. The color was first seen on the 356, with it then being offered on the 911 and 912 nearly 10 years later. The color didn’t find itself back on a 911 till it was re offered as a PTS shade for the 991.1 Generation.

The shade is then contrasted with a host of Crème white accents. Appearing on the front surround, lower mirrors, “PORSCHE” text side stripes and also the wheels. One of my favourite touches are the S/T logo centre caps, which are guards red on the passenger side, and shark blue on the driver side. This is a nod to the centre locks on a Carrera GT.

Stepping inside, we are greeted with an incredible cabin. The 2 main leather colors are Truffle Brown and Cohbia Brown, creating a combination that was also found on the 9YA.1 Cayenne’s.

Truffle predominantly appears over the upper elements of the interior. This includes the dashboard, steering wheel, steering wheel column, headliner, upper door cards, door arm rest, as well as the carpet. The brown is then contrasted with Iceland Green stitching. This appears in crosshatch form across dashboard and door cards.

Cohbia leather is seen everywhere Truffle isn’t. This most notable includes the lower dashboard, lower door cards, and the LWB Seats.

The main body of the seats is trimmed in Cohbia leather, with the outer edges being finished in Truffle. Separating the 2 leathers is Iceland Green piping, a piping color that matches the stitching found elsewhere. Within the seats we can find a Tartan insert, this also appears on the door cards and the frunk, which keeps the same leather pattern as the seats. The dashboard ends are also embossed with the number “63” a nod to the 911s first year of production.

Painted interior trim is also present, bringing some of that amazing exterior color into the cabin. The numbered plaque that sits upon said trim is finished in silver, the first S/T to have this detail.

Pastel orange is the shade that appears on this S/T. There are a few non metallic oranges on the pallet to choose from, with Gulf and Lava also being offered on the car. S/Ts in bright colors break the mold of a traditional heritage spec, and for that I love this car even more.

As this car is void of Heritage Package, we see a set of satin black wheels, sharply contrasting the bright orange paintwork. These wheels are perhaps the rarest to see on an S/T, with many wheels being painted in Ceramica, and the other bunch silver. Through these wheels we can also spy the black PCCB brakes, a standard on the S/T. To match this combo we then have a “PORSCHE” text stripe in black, traveling down both sides of the car. Black window trim also appears, as well as painted lower mirrors, Exclusive Design taillights and Matrix LED headlights.

Inside the car we have Extended black leather, a leather that has been contrasted with Orange stitching. This stitching appears throughout the interior, including in optional areas such as the steering column, floor mat edges, inner door sills and the air vent surrounds. This stitching also appears on the LWB seats, which are fitted with an orange pepia style insert, which matches well with the stitching. The car then has the all important carbon fibre roll cage.

This S/T is painted in the shade of Creme White. This color sits close to offerings such as Ivory and Geyser Grey, with Creme being the whitest of the bunch, and the perfect choice for an S/T. To my knowledge, this is the only S/T painted in this shade, making it even more special.

This car is then equipped with the Heritage Design Package. We can tell this as the standard Magnesium wheels are painted in the exclusive shade of Ceramica. Unlike most Heritage pack cars, this car is missing its optional decals. A number meatball could be had on the doors, as well as “PORSCHE” text traveling down the sides of the car. We then painted lower mirrors along with chrome window trim, the standard trim on the S/T.

As the aforementioned Heritage package is fitted to this car, Classic Cognac leather appears throughout. Since its first appearance on the 992 Sport Classic, the leather has been an option on every 911 model since. In this cabin, it appears on the lower elements of the interior, including the lower dashboard, door cards, and the LWB seats. The seats are contrasted with a black outline, matching the subtle black accents which appear in the cloth inserts.

This S/T is painted in the PTS shade of Pure White. The color was the standard white offering for the 991.1 and 981 models. This shade has appeared on a few 992s now, with a handful of Sport Classics also being painted in White.

Contrasting the PTS paintwork we have a host of Voodoo Blue accents, which are littered throughout the car. First off we have the wheels, which are entirely finished in the shade, with a contrasting Pure White lip. Continuing the theme, we have the heritage style “PORSCHE” text that travels down the sides of the car, also finished in Voodoo. The mirror caps are also blue.

Elsewhere on the exterior we see Chrome window trim, a standard on the S/T. The car also has Exclusive Design taillights and Matrix LED headlights.

Inside the blue accent theme continues. It appears in the form of Speed Blue stitching, this travels throughout the cabin including onto the LWB seats. These seats have been high customised, featuring Voodoo Blue seat belt pass throughs, as well as Houndstooth inserts. This houndstooth also continues onto the door cards. Shark blue also appears in this cabin, as the seat belts and door pulls are this shade.

Sport Classic Grey is a color that first appeared on the 997 Sport Classic in 2010. This shade mustn't be confused with Sport Grey Metallic, which was the color of the 992 Sport Classic. Why it changed, I have no idea. No matter though, as the shade looks right at home on a car like the S/T.

Unlike a majority of PTS S/T examples this S/T is void of the Heritage package. So instead of Silver or Ceramic being the wheel color, they are in the shade of Dark Silver. Grey wheels work no matter the body color, and they work even better with the gloss black brake callipers, a standard feature of the S/T.

Other touches on the exterior include the black window trim, which is then paired with the black Matrix LED headlights. Exclusive design tail lights also appear, completing the outside.

As this car doesn't have the Heritage package, normal extended black leather has been fitted throughout. This leather is then contrasted with a GT silver stitch, a stitch that continues onto the LWB seats.
