Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in New Jersey, and I must say, it’s one of the best places I’ve been birding so far!

The refuge is home to vast salt marshes, wetlands, and a wide variety of birds, especially during migration season. One of its main attractions is the approximately 8-mile Wildlife Drive, which takes you through the marshes with plenty of spots to pull over, observe birds, and photograph them.

I was amazed by the number and variety of birds I spotted during this short visit. There was something to see almost everywhere I stopped! I managed to capture quite a few photos, although there were plenty of birds I couldn’t photograph.
