Dylan (they/them) is a educator, singer, and vocal improviser who is inspired by in the rich and vibrant process of uncovering inner wisdom💫

They believe in the wonder of that hallmark of the human species - sharing knowledge and wisdom in community - and its power to be an additive and nourishing presence in our lives 💗

They grew up under the musical influence of a concert-pianist father and musical-theater mother who ensured that music soaked into their life experience 🎶
.
Dylan was in vocal and jazz ensembles throughout college and spent several years growing into vocal improvisation with Music For People - co-founded by improviser, world music composer, and cellist David Darling - where they learned to approach music from the heart and be open to the world of possibilities that arises when we free ourselves of judgment and prioritize authenticity over ego 💫💥✨
.
In 2024, Dylan co-founded @wingwardvocalimprov - an organization that is also committed to approaching music from the heart - where they co-facilitate vocal improvisation workshops and community jam sessions in NYC 💫
.
Tickets and additional info available at www.atgfestival.com
.
Sunday is our Family-Friendly day w/ youth specific programming 🤗
.
Show yourself some love and get our VIP ticket option called “Blessed and Highly Favored💫” - where you will have access to the VIP Lounge Area, complimentary snacks, and exclusive workshops and opportunities like Mini Birth Chart Readings 🔮 by @brooklynastrology or a Nature Nudes Boudoir Shoot 📸 w/ @baileyqphoto

Helloooooooooooooo good people of Instagram!

We are thrilled to be offering three events in August, including a couple of classics- a jam and a "Beginnings" workshop- but also a new event we've never done before: our co-founder Dylan is a truly exceptional beatboxer, and they will be doing a Vocal Percussion Workshop. If you have ever thought to yourself "I want to make my mouth create the groovy sounds of a tastefully played drum set, but I don't know how!" then this is a great event for you.

All of these events are open to anyone, and we would be thrilled to see you at one!

Hello! We're so excited to announce our first event featuring a guest facilitator, the incredible @rizumik (Tiago Grade).

For those not familiar with Rizumik, he is an incredible artist- his accolades include being an American Beatbox Champion, being on the faculty of Bobby McFerrin's Circlesong School, and working with Cirque du Soleil on the shows Sonor and Viaggio. This is sure to be an awesome session!
