We all lead storied lives. The stories we tell about ourselves and the stories we listen to from others shape the way we see and move through the world.

Working on this body of work, gathering stories across five continents and turning them into both a book and a serious game, has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life.

To read a story written thousands of miles away, from a different culture and generation, and see how it resonates or sparks new ideas in others – that is the power of storytelling in design.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who shared their time, resources, and most importantly, their stories, with such openness and generosity.

Loved developing Re:vive – Reimagining Underutilised Space and their Materials. A collaborative design sprint game created for BA Year 2 Design students at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges to reimagine underused London spaces through creative, material-led interventions.
