Heart is FULL as FUCK man.

Did my first ArcTanGent with my lovely @pterodactmel and had many other good shenanigans since. Cosmic Vibrations fest in sheff this last weekend was banging too, save for my feet feeling like I was stood on hot coals during Hällas.

Here's to many more days of having a full heart >;)

Also how sick was the eclipse??? Colander method unmatched imo by @winoozle

Some of the landscape oriented film shots from this last weekend. Many good subjects to point the camera at in Newcastle! Having a birthday weekend in a city I've never explored with good company was excellent and I'd love to go back up for gigs or more beer.

Many thanks to @pterodactmel for the location inspiration and @savage_bonobo for assisting with beer procurement.

This was all taken with the Minolta I'm borrowing from @t4tbutch and partially a test it works as well as proof of concept for all the photography crap I've learned so far. I think it turned out okay? Mostly overexposure but I don't entirely hate it tbh. Lots of these were taken at F16 on Kodak Gold 200 and even then it was a BRIGHT day.

I'll post some more photos soon; Instagram didn't like me mixing portrait photos and landscape ones! taken in Newcastle upon Tyne by @winoozle

Heloo timeline, here is your post of my shenanigans. I have: 1) played the biggest show of my life 2) drank beer and ate lots of Yummy Food with my Mel 3) rode bikes a little bit 4) pointed my camera at some things.

I've also rebuilt my pedalboard, set up my guitars and played through a very loud marshall at Rigby music 😋✌️

I turn 26 this weekend and will be going to Newcastle so here's to painting the toon broom 🫡 by @winoozle

@boo.visuals and @andreww.cr2 helping me inflate my ego.

I had an amazing gig with @deathbloomuk this last Tuesday and, despite being wobbly legged at the end of the gig, my heart is full. Seeing people enjoy the music that much and turn up for The Scene is always excellent; really major props to @dystopia.promotions for putting on such a sick show.

Major love to @snout.ing & @after.rouge for supporting us and being so good I was intimidated to play after!

Tagging Spector cos they'll totally sponsor me, right?

Also cheesy grins instead of riff faces is always a fun thing. taken in The Peer Hat by @winoozle

The two photos I took on Tuesday. I always get super nosey when I learn that I'm playing with friend's bands and seeing @snout.ing open for us was super fun. Jangly guitar tones and A Shouty Man are always a fab combo.

I'll likely do some more posts from that night as I had the privilege of cameras being pointed at me and I like being vain sometimes ;) taken in The Peer Hat by @winoozle

Wowee isn't this year just dandy. It's cold, it's wet, it's muddy. AND YET I've had wonderful experiences, met wonderful people, and eaten some good food (ask me about my Wigan kebab bagel edition).

Oh god I guess I better post on the ol' timeline.

Loved playing a lil group of shows with @deathbloomuk , not much cycling happening for me atm (hence zero bike updates here, I'm still building my MTB) and still Keeping It Real.

I plan to be more queer in the coming months, you have been warned. by @winoozle

Mega piccies from my first show with @deathbloomuk at Mother Mary's shot by @lilvamphoto & some other bits from tonight's show at Aatma!

Second set of photos are less interesting and flattering but I figured I'd include a stage POV and a bass photo because they bring me great joy.

For the gear nerds:

Warwick Thumb BO '01 tuned to Drop G(!) with a low 135

Boss tuner -> Boss HM-2 MIJ from 1986 -> Wampler Ethereal Reverb/Delay.

Then out to whatever amp I'm borrowing or DI (aiming to get a cab sim ASAP for redundancy)

Super glad the kit I had already fits deathblooms music and I'm enjoying being in a band where I get to play my favourite bass guitar >:) by @winoozle

Cross check version ????

New Hope/Velocity wheelset. 1x10 deore (thank you @sam.on.bikes 😇) New brakes. New bottom bracket. Feeling good.

Nearly at 2K miles on this bike and treating myself to new bits that make it actually ride smoothly is a nice thing. I promise I'll take care of my drivetrain 😩. by @winoozle

Some photos from Germany.

I had the pleasure of being hosted by the lovely @sam.on.bikes once again! We rode bikes (and the train 👀) between Cologne and Hanau and explored lots of bits in between. The weather was pretty intense and Christ I've never felt that warm in my entire life. I think we had a max of 37°C on Thursday? Insane. Soppy special comment on Sam being amazing at keeping my morale up when I was probably the most worn out I've ever been, as well as her work on the Cross Check before we set off on The Big Ride.

Really yearning to be back in Germany again when I've learned more of the language and the annual leave allows it!!!! taken in Cologne (Köln), Germany by @winoozle

Today I rode my bike. Then I drank coffee at a cute spot in South Manchester. Truly, I am living the most ridiculously exciting life.

The flood defences collapse makes for a cool place to walk/cycle along but I really hope they decide to throw some money at making it more secure for this coming rainy season :') by @winoozle

Posting this one because I like it.

It's always special when @wallowing_noise comes to town in their big spaceship. God knows how many times I've seen them but being able to catch them again and again is huge privilege.
