Neonatal moro reflex test‼️

Newborn babies will involuntarily extend their upper and lower extremities in response to a sudden acceleration or loud stimuli. They will then quickly pull their extremities back in and may cry

This reflex typically is integrated between months 2 and 4 of age 👶

It is thought that this reflex developed as a protective mechanism for a baby to maximize their chances of being caught by their parents in the event they were dropped 📝
