Got lucky to sneak off to Doral a few times this spring before a friend suggested we play Monarch Beach in early summer, and it was enough to make me remember that I like golf. As is. Walking. No rangefinders. No picking up putts that never found the hole. No drinks. Cigs optional. Golf. Raw golf. Bringing it back after 15 years of not playing regularly, including a decade where I didn’t touch a club, has been a process. It felt like I wasn’t doing anything right, and honestly, I still barely feel what’s going on. But the process has started. Going to be better than ever. taken in North Carolina by @winstonr2
