💙 MAILMAY 💙

It's that time of the year again!
Time for MailMay!

MailMay is a month long challenge, which takes part annually during the month of May (obviously, hehe 😆)

So what is actually #MailMay? 😃

It's a creative challenge that's all about crafting whether it's mailart, collages, journaling or anything art and paper related really 😉

The rules of the challenge are simple:

- follow me @winterborn_art
- share this post in your stories
- decorate a spread in your journal or an envelope for a friend or a postcard (or anything art & craft related– it's up to you ☺)
- post your creations using hashtags #mailmay and #mailmay2026 so other creative souls can find your works and get inspired too 🤍

❗The challenge officially starts on May 1st, but you don't have to wait a month and can start preparing beforehand, that's why I'm posting the prompts on 31st March (almost 1st April, hehe) to give you enough time to get ready 😁 You just need to post your creations on the correct days❗

Also, you don't have to create something for each day of the challenge – just pick the prompts that speak to your heart ❤

I will be sharing your works in my stories throughout the month of May and also I will be sending some happy mails to a few randomly chosen participants ☺

And that's it! 😄 I hope I didn't forget anything important, but if I did and you have any questions, please, let me know in the comments – I'm always happy to talk to you 💙

I hope this challenge inspires you and pushes the limits of your creativity❣

Have a wonderful day and stay creative! 💖

It's that time of the year again 😏

Time for the annual Halloween Journal Challenge hosted by amazing Kia @kia.creates 🧡

I'm happy and grateful to be a part of this challenge, I believe it's my 4th time and the theme I've chosen to make an entry for is Autumnal Recipe 🍁

One of my autumnal favorites when it comes to food is cinnamon rolls 😋 O don't think there's anything else like that for me 🤎

The video with me making this particular journal spread is already on my YT channel and you are very welcome to watch it as well as the videos from other talented #HalloweenJournalChallenge creators 😉

Also, have you already participated in this year's challenge? 🎃

p.s.: yes, I've missed the "s" in "rolls" 😅 I will glue it later, I promise! 😄

🍂 SEPTEMBER THOUGHTS 🍂

I'm so happy the autumn is here! 🍁
It's such an exciting and inspiring time of the year, I can't wait to participate in all upcoming challenges 🧡

Today I've made a few paper clusters for my daily journal to save some time on decorating process during the week 😊 I used lots of scraps and leftover stickers and had so much fun really ☺

How's your September going so far, friends? 😃

📚 READING JOURNAL 📚

I know everyone posts this type of content at the end of the year or at least at the very beginning of it, but oh well 😄

Anyways, here is my reading journal set up for the year of 2026 🤎

And I've just posted a video on my YT channel, where I am setting it up, so if you'd like to see everything in detail, you're very welcome – the link is up there in my bio as usual 😉

🖤 SINISTER 🖤

It's the 30th day of #MailMay2026 and for today's prompt I've made an envelope for a future outgoing 🤍

The idea behind it was to create something with a slightly gothic vibe and tiny sinister details 🥀

Also the lighting isn't the best here, but I hope you can still see the doily on the envelope 👀

🛹 Y2K 🛹

It's 28th day of #MailMay2026 and for today's prompt I've prepared this y2k coded envelope 💿

I am such a fan of those early 2000's aesthetics! 🤍 I still remember how vivid and bright future seemed back then 🤭

Do you miss that era? 😃 Or maybe you're a fan of a different one? 🤔

🌌 LAVENDER HAZE 🌌

Of course I had to make Taylor Swift inspired prompt for #MailMay2026 💜

I really want to make a whole series of dedicated letters later this year 😊 And not only to her music, but to some of my other favorite artists and their songs too 🎵

Have you ever made a musician/actor/song etc. inspired letter? 😃

🌸 FAIRY BLOSSOM 🌸

26th day of #MailMay2026 is here!

And today's envelope is for my future outgoing letter to one of my penpals 💗

It has less decorative elements than my other envelopes, because the print is quite busy itself, but I still think it looks pretty cute ☺
