decided to make an L7 painting to celebrate their “last hurrah” tour as well as to honor jennifer finch. i decided to try something new and experiment with the color composition. for my reference photos i used screenshots of videos i took on their brick are heavy tour. this painting was a challenge for sure, and i learned a lot of important things along the way. this piece is one that i am truly proud of and im glad i made the right choices with colors and patterns. #noregerts

i remember the first time i heard “pretend that were dead” in 2021 in my history class and immediately was so drawn to it. L7 opened me up to more riot grrl music and helped me discover even more awesome bands with angry women who scream (my fav genre :p) this band fucking rocks and inspires me to rock as well. i am absolutely psyched to see them play this week >:) #L7 #bricksareheavytour #l7lasthurrahtour #smallartist by @winterssdead

daisy chain fields was my first ever music festival ive been to and i gotta say it’s gonna make history big time. i got to see so many wonderful bands and artists with one of my dearest friends and met so many cool people. i’m incredibly grateful to have attended this fest. this experience was so beautiful because it has brought so many great people together and it’s been empowering as hell. it reminds me that the world hasn’t completely gone to shit and there is still hope. 🌼🏳️‍🌈🚺💕 #daisychainfeilds by @winterssdead
