Part two of… I don’t think corporate us would’ve approved of any of this.

When we left @nike , we thought building a business would mean strategy, branding, product development...

We quickly learned it’d also involve:
Working in a s*x shop
Creating fake Tinder accounts as free marketing
Pop-ups every weekend
Guerilla attacks everywhere… and so many more!

Looking back, almost none of the things that moved the business forward were in the original plan.

You kind of just... solve whatever problem is in front of you.

One week you’re pitching retailers.
The next you’re painting walls.
The week after you’re packing boxes.

It’s chaotic, occasionally ridiculous, and somehow it all starts to make sense.

I don’t think you need to be fearless to build something.

You just need to be willing to do things that feel a little embarrassing before they eventually become a good story.

dressing up as giant vulvas
my mum buying 30 vibes for her friends
converting a van into a giant vulv@
working on factory production lines
signing a lease because… it was hard to be online
and spending years not paying ourselves…
to being shut down by Chinese 👮

We didn’t learn about our own 𝖕𝖑𝖊𝖆𝖘𝖚𝖗𝖊 until our late 20s…
not because we weren’t curious
but because no one ever taught us.

here’s your reminder:
understanding your body and owning pleasure is part of wellbeing!
It’s not shameful. It’s not “too much.”
It’s part of knowing your body.
