We’re looking for industry leaders!

WIPA Houston has nine board positions available this year: President, Vice President, Director of Membership, Director of Membership Retention, Director of Programs, Director of Sponsorship, Director of Community Engagement, Director of DEIB, and Director of Education.

We’re a newer chapter, and we’re continuously looking to grow and expand, we’d love for you to be part of that growth so we can keep putting on amazing events for this industry.

Whether you’re passionate about leading our chapter’s vision, welcoming new members, building sponsor relationships, curating unforgettable events, or making sure our chapter reflects the community it serves, there’s a seat at the table for you.

And to clear up something we’ve heard a few times, letters of recommendation are NOT required to apply. We don’t want that to be the thing holding you back!

What an incredible night. 🤍

Monday’s Behind the Party was everything we hoped it would be, an intimate and intentional evening of connection, education, and inspiration. Getting to spend that time with so many incredible people in this industry, learning, laughing, and building real relationships, is EXACTLY why we do this!

A real business license. Liability insurance. Verified industry experience. A signed Code of Ethics. That’s what it actually takes to become a WIPA member, and it’s not a formality

It means every person in this chapter has something to lose if they don’t show up right for a client, and something to protect if they do. That changes the quality of every referral, every vendor recommendation, every collaboration inside the chapter.

It’s more work to get in. That’s exactly why it’s worth getting in!
