Today was my first Father’s Day without my best friend, my mentor, my biggest fan, my most loyal supporter, and the greatest Dad a son could ask for. He was one of a kind, larger than life, funny, smart, successful, a true gentleman, and everything I hope to be as a father some day.

Over the years, a lot of my friends and followers got to know my dad, I used to post him dancing and rapping to my music, smoking cigars, cracking jokes, and simply enjoying life. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2020.

I started losing a little bit more of my dad with each passing year, then month, and eventually weeks as his condition became worse, but the essence of the incredible man that he once was remained until his final days.

I know this day is hard for a lot of people, wether you’ve lost a father or they aren’t around, but if you’re still lucky enough to have a dad in your life, call them everyday, spend as much time with them as you can, and never take a moment for granted, because you never know what tomorrow has in store.

Here’s to you dad, happy Father’s Day, I love you 🥃 by @wise_beats

Want your music heard by someone who's worked with OVO’s Smiley, DrtWrk, Burd x Keyz, AND landed on 50+ editorial playlists?

We’re bringing Jordan, Founder & CEO of @app.feat.me , to the next Cave Club session!

Not only will he be breaking down how FEAT.me is using AI to revolutionize artist collabs and make creators more money—he’ll also be listening to music submissions from Beatcave members who join the call.

This is your shot to get real feedback from someone who's been on both sides of the industry—artist & exec—and knows what moves the needle.

Sign up for a Beatcave Membership now to lock in your spot, get access to submit your music, and be part of the convo.
Spaces are limited. Let’s go!
