Postpartum care and prep helping mothers feel calm and confident, so families can thrive ✨
FREEBIE: PP Meal Prep Plan ⬇️
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I got a cute photo of my girls and I (not like the rest, where I am at home in my pjs 😅) so I thought why not use it to do a little reintroduction!!

I’m Morgan, postpartum doula and mum of two here in Perth.

Pretty simply, I’m here because I believe women deserve way more support in early motherhood.

Because right now too many mums are:

- lonely
- exhausted
- experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety
- feeling like they aren’t good enough
- just kind of not enjoying early motherhood!?

And I think that needs to change, don’t you?

🧡

🌼 2026 offerings 🌼

I’m so excited to be back offering support to mothers and their families.

I can help you whether you are:

 - A first time mum, or you’re adding another sweet baby to your family ❤️
- You have no idea what support you need, or you are a type A girly - you have a plan and you need a postpartum guru to help you enact it!
- You don’t have any family support nearby, or you do have family around but want to have someone in your corner who you can ask for what you *really* need.
- You are having a straightforward pregnancy and birth experience, or you have some factors meaning you need a bit more TLC after baby arrives.
- You want regular, ongoing support or just need a once off pick-me-up.

Send me a DM, I’d love to hear about your growing family and how I can support you❤️

And…. because you want to drink your coffee while it’s still hot! 😜

There are many reasons the support of a postpartum doula might benefit your family, these are just a few.

Raising little ones in our fast-paced, individualistic world can be hard. We were never meant to parent in such an isolated way!

You deserve to be supported and to enjoy this precious time with your growing family 🌼

Back with another reminder to make your new-mum friends (or your future postpartum self) lots of healthy snacks, as well as main meals!

These chickpea blondies are perfect - super easy to make, full of goodness, freezer friendly and delish!

Recipe by @brownpapernutrition @supermarket.swap which I have adapted slightly:

Ingredients:

• 1 ¼ cups rolled oats
• 2 tsp baking powder
• Pinch of salt
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• 1 x 400g tin chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
• ½ cup maple syrup
• 55g butter (melted)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ cup white chocolate chips

Method:

• Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a loaf tin.
• Process the oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together in a food processor until it reaches a fine consistency (I actually used a stick blender here because our food processor broke - it worked fine!)
• Add the chickpeas, maple syrup, melted butter and vanilla and process until combined (or blitz up the chickpeas with your stick blender and mix all together by hand as I did here).
• Stir through the chocolate chips, reserving some for the top.
• Transfer into the loaf tin, smoothing the surface and scatter the remaining chocolate chips on top.
• Bake for approx. 25 minutes.
• Allow to cool and cut into pieces.

Save this to make and deliver when your bestie has a baby, or to pop into your freezer for your own postpartum food stash. Perfect for one-handed snacking while holding baby 💕

Hey mums - it’s 3pm. Have you managed to prioritise your wellbeing with some exercise today?

If not, can you fit in something by the end of the day? It doesn’t have to be much! But it might just give you that boost you need to make the evening dinner bath bed routine a bit more bearable (or dare I say it - enjoyable!??)

You could do…

- A quick pram walk
- 10 minute YouTube exercise video
- Dance party with your little one 💃🏻

As B of @coreandfloorrestore says - 5 mins is better than no mins.

And you absolutely deserve all the benefits movement can give you. The washing can wait!! Put yourself first for a minute mum 🩷

A recent client asked me for help with starting solids for her little one, so I thought I would turn the resources I put together for her into a blog!

It links you to trusted sources to answer your questions on starting solids with your baby:

- how do I know my baby is ready to start solids?
- should I offer purées or finger food?
- should I introduce one food at a time or a mix?
- how many meals should baby be having?
- how do I time solids and milk feeds?
- how do I introduce allergens?

The blog also contains a link to my free downloadable Starting Solids Planner & Allergen Introduction Tracker - helping to handle the mental load of this transition.

Head to the link in my bio to check it out 🌼

Hello lovely people! I have been a little quiet on here but I wanted to share this update with you…

Our family is heading off on our next adventure at the end of this year ✈️

But that doesn’t change my passion for supporting women and their families, so after a break while we settle in, I’ll be offering postpartum care and planning in..

Beautiful Brisbane! 😍

I can’t share this without saying a big thank you to the Perth community that has supported me as I’ve started this business, it really means so much.

And if you are looking for postpartum support in Perth, you can check my pinned stories for some amazing local doulas you can reach out to 🩷 taken in Yokine, Western Australia by @wise_postpartum

Hey mums - it’s 2pm. Have you eaten lunch yet?

Just a reminder that your needs matter too.

And if it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day to eat well or you don’t have a spare minute to eat without a baby or toddler in your arms… you’re not failing. You need more support.

Did you know that’s what postpartum doulas are here for? We’re all about looking after you, while you look after baby 💕

The one problem with these…

They disappear too quickly 🤭

If you’re new here, this is my little campaign encouraging you to make your new mum friends:

- nourishing breakfasts
- energy-giving lunches
- tasty, feel-good snacks

Often as part of their prep for life with a new baby, parents will organise meal deliveries or stock their freezer with main meals, but the rest of the day can be a bit forgotten! So this is a great way to support and care for them ✨

These Peanut Butter Crunch Cups, inspired by @wholesomebysarah, are a delicious one-handed snack! Here’s how to make them:

Ingredients

Base
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup puffed quinoa
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional - add a touch more coconut if not using and the mixture looks a bit wet)
- 2 tbsp pepitas
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Topping
- 80g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- sea salt (optional - for sprinkling on top)

Method
- Add all base ingredients to a bowl and stir to combine. The mixture should be quite firm and hold together well.
- Press mixture down firmly into mini muffin tray. I greased my muffin tray a little to make sure the PB cups would come out, but if you’re using a silicone muffin tray then no need for this!
- Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a bowl (I microwave it in 30 sec bursts, stirring in between each burst).
- Pour chocolate on top of the bases to cover the peanut butter mixture. Sprinkle sea salt on top.
- Set in the fridge for a couple of hours before removing from the tray.
- Package up and deliver to a lucky mumma! These treats should be kept in the fridge or freezer 🩷

These are easy to make, freezer friendly and the perfect bite when a new mum needs a little boost in her day!

Oh hey! Just wanted to check in and remind you - you’re doing so beautifully.

Even on the days that motherhood feels hard. Especially those days.

You keep showing up, day in, day out. Learning, growing, adapting.

You are enough.

You are the very best mother for your little one.

You’ve got this ✨

➡️ Send this to a mum who needs this reminder… we all do sometimes 💕

No shade on lasagne of course!! But caring for our new mumma friends also means helping them with:

- nutritious breakfasts
- energy-giving lunches
- yummy one-handed snacks

So this series gives you some easy breakfast, lunch and snack options to make for the new mum in your life, to help nourish her through the long days and nights with baby.

Zucchini slice is a great (…grate?😉) freezer friendly lunch or snack option. Here’s how to make it!

Ingredients:

- 1 medium zucchini, grated
- 1 large carrot, grated
- Approx. 1 cup other veg, finely chopped - use up what you have in the fridge! Here I used capsicum, broccoli and parsley.
- 1/2 brown onion, finely chopped
- 2 rashers bacon, chopped into 1cm pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup SR flour
- 1 cup tasty cheese, grated
- 1 tsp Italian herbs / other seasoning you like!
- Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease a casserole dish (30x20cm).
- Fry bacon and onion until bacon is starting to brown and onion is cooked through. Add garlic and fry all together for 1 minute. Set aside to cool.
- Place all of the grated/chopped veg in a bowl, along with eggs, about 3/4 cup of the grated cheese, bacon mixture (cooled), flour, salt and pepper and Italian herbs. Use your spoon to break the egg yolks and then stir until everything is well combined.
- Press the mixture into casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining grated cheese (and feel free to be more generous with the cheese on top if you like 😋).
- Bake for approx. 40 minutes or until cooked through, with cheese golden brown on top.
- Cool, slice, package up and deliver to a lucky mumma with love!

Let’s be honest… returning to paid work after you’ve had a baby is a lot!

It’s a big change for you and your little one, no matter how old they are when you go back and whether you are returning part-time or full-time.

You might be feeling ready to get back into it or you might be grieving the end of your special time together - or maybe feeling a bit of both… 🩷

Whatever it looks like for you, here are a few ways that you can smooth the transition:

- Start your new child care arrangements prior to you starting back at work - a month or even a bit longer is great to really allow baby to settle into it and ease your mind for when you do go back to work.

- Meal prep! Just like when you prepped for postpartum, have your freezer stocked with healthy meals that are easy to reheat so you don’t have to worry about cooking in the evenings as you get used to your new routine.

- If possible, plan for your partner to access some leave so they can really take the reins at home (including ensuring you get some uninterrupted stretches of sleep!) to allow you to focus on getting settled in at work again.

- Boost your support at home - consider ways to ease the load, including the mental load! Could you buy some pre-made baby/toddler meals, engage a cleaner, get a family member or babysitter to have bub as part of your weekly routine to allow you to rest?

- Book in something nice just for you at the end of your first week back. Maybe a lunch with friends, a massage, a solo beach trip? Something to look forward to and to celebrate yourself for working through this big milestone!

Save these tips for when you are planning your return to work or send them to a mum friend who needs them 🩷

You’ve got this! ✨
