POSTS STORIES REELS

"Cosmic Serenity"

This painting was originally inspired by a memory I have as a child. My mother and I, sitting on a grassy hill on our 500 acre property, looking up at the starry night sky. If you sat in the right place on that hill, the distant valley would shape around the night sky enough to make the sky look like it was an extremely close planet, and when I first seen this, it had enough of an effect on me to make my stomach drop, so that imagery has stuck with me since.

My second inspiration was the game "No Man's Sky. Deep space has always been something that fascinated me, so the opportunity of exploring unknown planets in a video game was awesome.

I took some game screenshots and combined them with my memory as a child to create this painting.

I do still plan on painting one more leaning towards my mother and I looking up at a planet on a grassy hill, like we did that night, but for now, this combination of the two is my homage to two great memories.

If you made it to read this far, I thank you. You're probably the amazing people liking my post and you are so appreciated greatly ❤

In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit...

My very last painting completed while living in Australia. I painted this as a gift for a friend who is big hobbit fan.

Probably the most difficult painting I've done thus far, but I'm quite chuffed with how it turned out and I think this one might be my favorite that I've done 😊

"A Dream of Home"
This is a painting of a Swedish landscape I have been working on for over 3 months. The very first canvas painting I've started with the pure intent to try and sell. It has been one of the most headache inducing, most difficult and draining projects I've ever worked on which is funny because I was trying to portray peace 😂 but I was happy with it in the end.

Due to Sweden being extremely dark and gloomy this time of year, photographing it was an extreme challenge, but I did my best. Really hope you like it 😊❤️

It's details time! And witch king gets to go first. He's probably 50% done but definitely happy with how he started to look after getting a proper reference picture.

As someone who only ever works on one painting at a time, it's been quite a challenge continuing this painting I haven't seen in 4 months. To me it's like continuing to read a story after taking a long break. I've forgotten the way I was heading with the painting, the plans I had for certain areas. Will just have to put a few hours into it, and see what new ideas start forming!

GLaDOS is a popular girl! Thanks so much to everyone who has ordered a Portal print, it truly means a great deal that you've chosen to display my art in your homes. Blows my mind really.

This out of stock has taken me by surprise, so please bare with me as I restock. It may take a week or so.

There's still plenty of silky 10x8" prints available though 😊

PORTAL FTW!

Special thanks to those individuals who voted for Portal to be painted! I loved painting this one, really appreciate it 🌹

"It's been a looong time"

Finally all finished. I really tried my best to make the very best painting I could while not taking my usual 2-3 months, even injuring my hand and forearm in the process from such long hours 😅

I put my absolute all into this, really hope you like it.

Thank you for all the kindness and support, and see you on the next one! 💙🧡
