A few months ago, at the estimated wise age of 19, Wags passed

He retired from social media in 2023 so you haven’t seen him around for a bit, I felt it was time to let him age with dignity

Please don’t be sad, he wants us all to be happy to celebrate his fabulous life instead!

I’ve had many other dogs but Wags really was special. We had countless incredible adventures together - most of which are documented here. Looking back, I’m so happy I posted all these pictures and stories as they will forever be a diary of our time together.

But, it’s not over! I learned so much from being joined at the hip with Wags for almost a decade - about myself, about life, and ultimately about death. He taught me to see the beauty in being present, love everyone unconditionally, and that death is not the end.

It’s not an exaggeration to say he saved my life during the pandemic. I know I would not have made it through those dark times without his companionship.

I know many of you have aging dogs, and I was shocked after my 2-year hiatus, how many have also had to say goodbye to the fur babies we loved to follow. It’s a cruel fact of life that we usually outlive our dogs

However, Wags wants you to know it’s OK. He is still with me just as your beloved pets are still with you.
