šŸŽ§Audiobook ReleasešŸŽ§ I had a plan and a pre-order in place but Audible said ā€œNo. the people need it now.ā€ and poof, audiobook Islaā€™s Reach is now published! And 30% off too! Despite the rushed announcement I am so excited this is out in the world! Publishing my physical book was a dream come true but to have it in an audiobook format is ascension beyond the stars. I am so grateful to Siobhan Waring for the gift that is her voice! She is not only incredibly talented and the perfect narrator for Islaā€™s Reach, she is an absolute gem of a human being who is a genuine pleasure to work with. Iā€™ve no idea how her voice works the way it works but Iā€™m so glad it does. If you canā€™t tell by the cover, Islaā€™s Reach might have dragons, and how Siobhan breathes life into them sends chills down the spine. I am also incredibly grateful to @zackargyleauthor and all the donors to the Indie Fantasy Fund. This was possible because of you! Links to purchasing Islaā€™s Reach in all its formats can be found in my bio and Iā€™ve posted a link in my story as well. Love yā€™all! Thank you for all the love and support youā€™ve shown for Islaā€™s Reach! Working hard on getting you book 2! . . . . . #indie #indiebooks #indieauthor #selfpublished #selfpublishedfantasy #selfpub #author #bookstagram #fantasybooks #fantasybookstagram #bookstagram #booksta #dragons #audiobook #audiobookstagram #audiobooks by @witchkingreads
ITā€™S BOOK RELEASE DAY!!!! Unhinged. Today I am unhinged. This beauty! This book-sized piece of my grim grimdark heart is officially out in the wild. Sheā€™s living and breathing, causing havoc and running rampant! Becoming an author is something Iā€™ve wanted to be since I was a child. Now that Iā€™ve gone and done the damn thing I cannot wait to share more stories with yā€™all. Thank you everyone for all of your support and love. The response to Islaā€™s Reach has been absolutely unreal and I couldnā€™t be more grateful for all those giving my debut a chance. All links for purchase are available in my bio. Islaā€™s Reach is also live on Kindle Unlimited! Again, thank you all for the endless love and support! Youā€™ve made this grimdark girl happier than you can possibly imagine. . . . . . #bookstagram #booksta #fantasybookstagram #fantasybooks #indieauthors #indiebooks #selfpublishedauthor #selfpub #selfpublished #adultfantasy #readersofinsta #fantasyauthors by @witchkingreads
As you can see, I took the ending quite well šŸ™ƒ Anyone else remained utterly calm after reading Legacies of Betrayal? How ya doing? 5/5 book 10000/5 crash out . . . . . . . . . . #fantasybookstagram #bookstagram #booksta #malazan #legaciesofbetrayal by @witchkingreads
Coffee = Malazan if that wasnā€™t clear and if yā€™all ever want to chat about it Iā€™ll never leave you on read. . . . . . . . . . #bookstagram #fantasybookstagram #bookstagramreels #malazan #bookreel by @witchkingreads
I said what I said but also just because I said pass doesnā€™t mean I donā€™t want to try again. Iā€™d want to be a part of the Wars of Light and Shadows fan club!! Yā€™all looks like so youā€™re emotionally devastated and I want that to be meeeeee šŸ˜ by @witchkingreads
Just a little Malazan for your timeline. Yā€™all ever just browse through the illustrations of your special editions? It brings me so much joy. Bit of a reading update. Iā€™m working on Age of Myth and Iā€™m so into this world! Love all the worldbuilding going on and the fact that there are more books outside of the series Iā€™ve picked up also brings me so much joy. Raithe is my boy and I want him and Malcolm to be the most bromance to bromance. Suri is the most endearing feral child and I want her to teach me how to talk to trees. My other read is Immortalis, a Chinese web novel thatā€™s inspired the new cdrama of the same name thatā€™ll be coming out later at the end of this year. Itā€™s about three characters Yang Wujian, Shen Qingshi, and Zhou Huai solving supernatural crimes all while trying to meet their own agenda. When I say this book has had me by the throat I mean Iā€™ve been barely able to breathe for days!! Iā€™m obsessed and Iā€™m mad at myself that itā€™s taken me this long to read translated work. Iā€™ve got a whole new TBR and Iā€™m so excited about it! by @witchkingreads
Anyone else see the Mouth of Sauron on the Steel Godā€™s naked cover? I am scared. Iā€™m very very excited to dive into this as soon as I possibly can. I really enjoyed the first book and Iā€™m expecting a wild horror ride for the sequel. Lots of internal organs having no business being where they are kind of horror. by @witchkingreads
Just a classic shelfie today. Iā€™ve not had the energy to take bookish pics so Iā€™m scouring my photo library. Doesnā€™t The Drowning Empire trilogy look so pretty on the shelf! Howā€™s everyoneā€™s current read? Tell me how much youā€™re loving it cause I need motivation. I really like The Judging Eye but Iā€™m ready for it to be over and move onto something with a bit more personality and not just dread. Thinking about starting up Michael Sullivan Age of Myth. People seem to really love it. . . . . . . . . . . #bookstag #fantasybookstagram #dragons #bookshelf #bookstagram by @witchkingreads
Good morrow beautiful bookish people! āš”ļøWhat is a book you love but donā€™t talk about often?āš”ļø Just sharing a book that I donā€™t talk about often but that I absolutely love! Blood Song is the coming of age story of Vaelin Al-Sorna and the violent warrior life that was chosen for him. Itā€™s a great character driven book that I still think about often. Iā€™d love to reread it someday. Itā€™s part of a trilogy but honestly I like to think of Blood Song as a standalone. Itā€™s brilliant by itself and my thoughts on the sequels is that I dnfā€™d them šŸ˜… by @witchkingreads
How many editions is too many editions for your favorite series? The limit does not exist. You want that edition? Go get it. Donā€™t come to me asking to talk sense into you. Iā€™m an enabler. Iā€™ll always tell you to buy the book. This is what friends are for. by @witchkingreads
Now two editions closer to owning the entire Subpress set. With each book my Malazan powers grow. Have many of you read The First Law? Or is it on the tbr? by @witchkingreads
Just one set of books that have been on my shelf for some time watching as I read everything else except them. Iā€™ve heard all the good things about this series and one day, I will read them but it is not this day. Im nearly done with The Last Argument of Kings and plan on continuing with The Judging Eye cause that needs to be read all by its lonesome. Itā€™s too violent for pair reading. šŸ—”ļøWhat book/series has been on your tbr the longest? by @witchkingreads
