Allow me to introduce myself… my name is Regi 🙂‍↕️🫰🏻✨ nice to meet you!!

#diary #vlog

I’m a multicultural kid! I grew up surrounded by Latino friends, but at home it was 100% Chinese culture - we had rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner… if there wasn’t rice, was it even a meal? 😅🍚🥢

#lasian

Working in the film industry (and seeing my name in the credits of a Disney movie) was the whole reason I moved to Germany in the first place. 🎬🍿

After making that dream come true and checking it off my bucket list, I transitioned into commercials. Both experiences taught me so much, challenged me in different ways, and were an unforgettable part of my journey!

#vfx #commercial

I’m a girl of many talents… or at least I like to think so 😅

Jokes aside, sports have always been a huge part of my life - especially tennis 🎾 I played competitively for about 10 years, until I was 18, and after that I kept playing just for fun with friends & fam.

More recently, I discovered pickleball… and I have to admit, I totally caught the bug everyone keeps talking about. 🪲

So now I have two goals:

1. Tennis: Get back into the game and get the same level I used to have when I was 16 years old 🏆
2. Pickleball: Become a pro player 😤🏓💪

Will I succeed? I honestly have no idea… but come along for the journey! Because if you can dream it, you can do it ✨

I’m in my bride era!!!!!!! 💍💍👰🏻‍♀️

Right now, I’m in the middle of venue hunting, wedding dress shopping, and all the fun (and slightly chaotic) wedding planning! I’m so excited, and I can’t wait to share this journey with all of you! 🤍

#brideera #wedding

Also, I feel like Disney is basically my whole personality. If we’re not visiting the parks with the fam that year, it must be for a good reason!!! 🏰✨💖

And next year, I’m really hoping to visit China 🇨🇳 and finally tick off the last Disney park on my list.

#travel #disney #disneyparks

Why am I sharing all of this? Because life is about to change in the biggest way!

Accidentally made Guatemalan hilachas when I just wanted to cook some stew beef 😂🇬🇹

Recipe: Guatemalan Hilachas

Ingredients

* 1.5 lb stew beef
* 1 onion, chopped
* 2 carrots, chopped
* 2 potatoes, chopped
* 4 cups beef broth (or enough to cover the meat)
* 3–4 tomatoes
* 2 garlic cloves
* 1 tsp salt, plus more to taste
* ½ tsp black pepper
* 1 tsp cumin
* 1–2 tbsp oil

Instructions

1. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a pot and sear the beef on all sides.
3. Blend the tomatoes, garlic, and a little broth until smooth.
4. Add the blended sauce, chopped onion, and beef broth to the pot.
5. Cover and simmer gently for about 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
6. Add the carrots and potatoes during the last 30–40 minutes of cooking.
7. Shred the beef with two forks, mix everything together, and adjust the seasoning. Add a little water or broth if needed.

Serve with white rice and enjoy! 🤍

Save this for your next cozy cooking day!

Happy Sundayyyy!!

Welcome to Episode 3 of my home-stay fiancée diaries 🥞😂

I tried making banana protein pancakes for my fiancé and somehow ended up making Kaiserschmarrn instead… honestly, we’re calling that a win 🇩🇪 !!

At least I’m learning to improvise instead of giving up. 😂

Happy Friday!!!

As a home-stay fiancée, I spend a lot of time by myself, so sometimes I take myself on a little solo date and explore my new city 🥹🤍

Honestly, it’s been such a fun way to get more comfortable in my new home.
