How to Make It in America (2010)I just finished binging this TV series and loved its POV on fashion, juggling side hustles, and managing relationships.The grind feels very relatable. Beyond the banter on selvedge denim, Zimbabwe cotton, and Barneys NY, I loved this particular scene where Kid Cudi talks about life having its own ebbs and flows.This is your reminder that growth isn’t linear. It’s what a beginner’s mind is all about ❤️ by @withabeginnersmind

Here’s why I love the Studio Denim:- chain stitched waistband for durability- curved front pockets lined with HBT- oversized coin pockets on each front opening- hook and bar closure with mixed metals,- denim ‘leather’ patch as a callback to the design I launched WABM with in 2020- interior zip pocket at the back rightIt’s my favorite pair of jeans because it brings together my passion for denim (of all eras) with a contemporary twist 🙇🏽‍♂️ by @withabeginnersmind

An aspect of a beginner’s mind is self-regulation. Things won’t always go your way and that’s part of the process.Instead of spiraling or taking things personally, try reframing your thoughts and emotions.I don’t know who needs to see this today, but here are a few reframes I use to soften my own negative self-talk ❤️ by @withabeginnersmind

Mr. Lincoln is recovering from surgery and back in the mixWe had our first standup meeting in 6 months if you count dog years…it’s been a minute.I caught him up on what I’ve been working on and he helped narrow down choices on trim for a new jacket I’m developing. As expected, he preferred Riri zippers over the rest.This year my focus is on slow fashion, so you’ll see fewer items come out at once but all with the same intention and love I’ve always put into my work🤞🏽 by @withabeginnersmind

I love working with friends. It feels most organic supporting those who support you — full circle.Last year, I worked with @denimfree for my Season 7 Campaign and then again for Season 8 Ecom. He brought new ideas to the table and I loved his take on things.He helped me contextualize the Studio Tee as a garment made to be worn by anyone. I’m proud of how this lil editorial came out ❤️ by @withabeginnersmind

What’s good January edition 1 - I’ve started redeveloping a fan favorite from Season 5 but this time in Italian cord. Still noodling on the idea so I’m going to meet with @orangecoloredfunk soon for a fitting2 - Trying something new. Before designing new silhouettes, I’m looking at past blocks I’ve made and seeing if there’s something to work with3 - Italian hardware, YKK Excella, and YKK #54- I love trips to the post office and that’s made possible because of your support <35 - Been washing my Studio Denim every month. I’m at 2 soaks so far…more of that later6- Working on more tees. When garment dyeing, you have to make a ‘shrink blanket’ 7- I’m camera shy but working on it lol. I visited Vietnam in December and plan to come back later this year…jacket by @gian.saigon and denim by yours truly8 - I’ve been spending my free time visiting Mr Lincoln. He’s recovering from a recent surgery..he misses you but will back to help with WABM in no time 9 - One of my goals for 2026 is to find a hobby (you can see my full list on WABM Weekly 002). Lately, my hobby has been bedazzling rhinestones on objects like aquaphor. Super random but it’s therapeutic and fun to do with friends lol by @withabeginnersmind
