Announcement! In November I’m beginning to facilitate an original experience I’m calling “monkey with bootsy”

This offering will pull on my training in clown, movement culture, contact improvisation, dance, theatre, integrative psychology, somatic experiences, parts work (IFS) and more!

These classes are an experiment with the intent to help people play, move, feel, find meaning and connect with themselves and others in community.

Please RSVP and or spread the word. If there’s enough interest in these first couple of classes I will host a 5 week series through mid December. We may even put a performance together for Vaudevillingham if those attending feel up for it!

Monkey on, folx!

Team player, deep empathizer, and clown Bootsy wearing crescent moon and star wood resist printed indigo shorts, a raggedy indigo washed up on a deserted island shirt vest, an Osage orange dyed apron made out of a vintage tea towel, hand felted indigo dyed wool “pearl necklace” with Osage dyed vintage doily bandana, tail prop made out of hand braided wool roving, and an Osage dyed silken hair rag. Designs @sulaiazul

Your friend @bootstrapjuicebox is an artist dancer performer but also knows how to do real things like code or make really pretty apps or clear up storage on your phone. Lucky for us, he is also finishing up training as a somatic therapist and just being this guy’s friend, I’m so excited that he’ll be available to share his deep presence and emotional intuition with others!

Wowza. @shbangfestival we did it again! It was a year of firsts for me. First time directing and co-choreographing an 11 person dance number! First time performing in full drag, and first time spinning Spiñatas over the an audience in the Saloon. Thank u so much to everyone who made this weekend such a blast. We’re all some of the luckiest creatures on earth to have the opportunity to make our weird art baby dreams come true in nature with our fellow loved ones. Let’s do it again next year!

To anyone I encountered on the 8 at OCF, I just tested positive for COVID. I hope you don’t, but if you have any symptoms get tested real quick. #stopthespread by @withbootsy
