You don’t need to know what service you need. You don’t need to know what’s causing your pain. And you definitely don’t need to commit to anything before we talk. The discovery call is 15 minutes. We’ll talk about what’s going on, what you want to get back to, and what you’ve already tried. I’ll let you know honestly whether I think I can help. If it sounds like we’re a good fit, I’ll take care of the rest. 📍 Raleigh + the Triangle 🏠 1:1 physical therapy 🏃🏽‍♀️ Running gait analysis 💻 Telehealth Book your free discovery [i.e. consultation] call through the link in my bio. Hi, I'm your new physical therapist. 🏃♀️ I'm a 4x marathoner, 5x half-marathoner, and I'm currently training for my first marathon with my husband - Chicago '26! 🐈🐈⬛ I have a black girl cat named Moosey and an orange boy cat named Rhinestone and they are terribly behaved but so, so cute ☕ I'm a big coffee girl and love to support local 💍 I got married last year...to another physical therapist! @lodhi_dpt Please introduce yourself below! I can't wait to meet you in person at an event or at your first physical therapy appointment!! (Book a free consultation call via the link in my bio! 🤎) by @witheasept
My physical therapy practice is so much more to me than just a clinic. It’s a reflection of my core values. It’s a manifestation of exactly how I want to help people and how I would want people to help my family. It’s the name I was born into and the legacy I choose to leave behind. Life is going to be hard. But that doesn’t mean it’s all bad. Even when it’s hard — ESPECIALLY when it’s hard — I hope I can play some small part in bringing ease to that hardship just as my faith, my family, and my name does for me. i’m curious, what does your name mean? Let me know below! by @witheasept
I LOVED this question, asked today by a new friend and colleague! In the past, I think I might have gotten a bit defensive and tense before answering. Why were they asking? Were they judging me? Why did they first ask if I was Muslim? Isn't it obvious? Are they about to be racist? But, turns out, they've been through a lot of aches and pains and injuries, themselves, and are looking for a physical therapist to help them! I worry so much about judgment coming my way sometimes that I forget how much I might be judging others and their intentions, too. What other Muslim-related questions do you have for me? Nothing is too intrusive, and there are no bad questions!! DM me if you feel more comfortable than commenting :) by @witheasept
Let me tell you about today’s run… My Garmin is dead, and I have no idea where the charger is. I had to use the bathroom 3 minutes in. I was outside for 12 minutes MAX. I look like navy Buzz Lightyear in this hijab. I’m not in my brand colors. My husband took a video of me running from the apartment window and I legit look like I’m moving in slow motion. I don’t even know what my form was like because the whole time all I could think about was my tummy hurting from too much lasagna. But I went for a run today. 1 month ago, I was telling the internet how afraid I was to even put my running shoes on. For fear of how hard it would feel. For fear of looking and feeling and being stupid. Sometimes you have to do the thing before you do the thing to make doing the thing easier. Know what I mean? by @witheasept

Let's body double and get some work done together! Your challenge: pick 1 exercise your physical therapist asked you to do this week, do it until I get done journaling, and we'll both get to check something off our to do lists. If you don't have a PT yet, you need one. DM me 'I need a PT' and let's get you on track to less pain and a more active life. by @witheasept
“Just stop running.” 🙃 As a physical therapist and run coach, that's not something I tell runners very often. But there are 2 situations where I may recommend taking a break from running. Sometimes rest is necessary, but it shouldn't be the entire rehab plan. The goal is to KEEP you doing what you love, with a plan that actually makes sense for YOU. 💌 Dealing with a running injury? The heel raise...my least favorite exercise outside of the burpee, but only because they feel so difficult! (i.e. I need to be doing them way more often.) Heel raises, or calf raises, can be used for mobility, strength, preparing for high impact, improving knee alignment, rehabbing annoyed muscles after a sprain or strain, addressing fear after an Achilles injury...and so much more. Let's be careful when we judge how someone is doing an exercise and instead consider WHY they might be doing it like that in the first place. by @witheasept
