Still in shock because what do you mean we got to attend the World Premier as a family of one of the most incredible films ever created? 🥹

It was filled with so much culture and love I must’ve cried 5 times last night.

From the Polynesian live action characters performing IRL, to the Phil Harmonic orchestrating the soundtrack, @therock’s heartfelt speech, and fireworks to end the night. And the film itself was a beautiful recreation of the original.

The kiddos got to learn more about their Islander roots and it was truly so special watching them leave with a deeper appreciation for it all.

@disney @hm_comms we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to witness such a magical evening under the stars, with the stars themselves. It was a night we’ll hold in our hearts forever.

Disney’s Live Action Moana is in theatres everywhere July 10th, don’t miss it ❤️🌊

I had the honor of attending @instagram’s Screen Smart Event to learn all about @meta Safety Tools for parents of preteens/teens to help navigate social media together. They now offer a suite of tools backed by leading experts to shape their online experience. A few tips & things I learned & wanted to share with you:

⭐️Go to Settings👉🏼Supervision👉🏼Connect your child’s account to set daily time limits & get insights on your teens interactions
⭐️There’s built in protections using AI that automatically filters and blocks out inappropriate/sensitive content, messages, and profiles while also defaulting their profiles to “private”
⭐️They provide resources & tips to help spark those uncomfortable conversations with your teens surrounding social media
⭐️Go through explore page weekly & “long press” on any content they or you don’t want to see
⭐️You’ll receive notifications when they block someone or receive message requests
⭐️”Nudge” feature to help stop passive scrolling by encouraging them to switch topics or get offline after a certain amount of time
⭐️use the “hidden words” feature to hide messages or comments featuring specific phrases, words, or emojis

I haven’t allowed mine access just yet but I definitely feel more empowered to have these conversations with my kids now and potentially allow them on when they’re ready. Thanks @instagram for having me 💕
