i originally had this as a story but since so many people found this helpful, i decided to have it permanently on my feed 😊

as a large family, we cook and have majority of our meals at home... with that said, i spend a huge amount of time in the kitchen. I've been experimenting with ways to lessen the time so one of the things I've implemented was prepping my most used veggies once or twice a month (especially onions as i don't need to be crying every.single.time lol 😅). here I'm using a chopper to make things easier but you don't need to purchase any new gadgets. I place them in ziploc bags and freeze them. when I need it for a recipe, I just take it from the freezer and dump it in. it's been a gamechanger! let me know if this is helpful or if it's something you already do in your home. by @withlove_tish

the girls just had their award ceremony this past week with the american heritage girls/trail life - hawaii chapter 🌺 super thankful for this organization that continues to help shape and encourage our children to be Godly citizens in the community. bittersweet as this was miya's last year but super proud of her as she did something wayyyy out of her comfort zone (public speaking) and co-emceeing the award ceremony.

grateful for HI0808 for welcoming us during these few short months 🙏🏽 did you know there was a "christian-based" boy/girl scout troop out there? chances are, they are in your backyard as they are located all across the nation ❤️

introducing our caboose... emery irenaeus ☀️

blessed with another quick labor and very similar to yasminna's birth... born 1.5hrs after arriving at the birth center. didn't get to do a water birth this time around but daddy still "caught" him.

we're so grateful for all of your prayers 🙏🏽 siblings are obsessed with him and we all are enjoying the joy of a new baby.

as for the game... everyone guessed pretty close but @debbie808 and @joshy_washy03 were the winners guessing his birth date -- the 23rd. thank you so much for playing along 💙 by @withlove_tish

sadly, i didn't really take too many bump pics this pregnancy... so here's two photos 10 weeks apart.

welllllllll, we were keeping a secret 🤫 baby numero nueve due ANY DAY NOW 😅 actually, my due date isn't until the first of july but i tend to deliver between thirty-seven and thirty-nine weeks so technically any day now... it's such a huge blessing to carry and nurture another life. thank you Jesus 🙏🏽

also, so thankful to our sixteen-year-old for crocheting her baby brother all the things... bonnets, blankets, and even this weighted lamb. can you tell she's excited to finally have another boy in the family 😅 by @withlove_tish

a lot has happened since my social media fast in march. it was such a nice, peaceful, and liberating time. i'm actually not ready to be fully present here, if i'm being honest.

but i did want to document this on our sm pages as a reminder of the little moments and traditions we create with our family.

this is the first year we did a tree (for multiple reasons) in over 10 years as well as picking and harvesting it ourselves... i mean, if we are going to start a new tradition, we might as well go big, right lol.

kidding aside, we wanted to recreate this tradition to really emphasize on the reason for the season explaining the why's and such, to pass on for our future generations to come ❤️ taken in Double Four Tree Farm by @withlove_tish
