Happy New month 🤍🤍🤍

And welcome to the Beta-side with @betajollof_ by @withmamajollof

I’ve been here for a while. but I don’t think I’ve ever really introduced myself properly.

Hi, I’m Mama Jollof 🤍
Some days I’m in full glam, other days I’m in flour-covered aprons or gym tights. I’m a creative director, a baker, a gym lover, and the heartbeat behind a few brands you might already know.

This page is where I pour all the parts of me the food that makes people smile, the hustle that keeps the dream alive, the quiet moments I take just to breathe, and the style that reminds me I’m her.

If you love food that feels like home, little doses of motivation, and a sprinkle of glam.

welcome to my world. You’ll fit right in. ✨

So tell me, how did you find me
food, fashion, fitness or Long time OG? by @withmamajollof

I don’t know if it’s just me, but this November feels different.

I don’t have all the big declarations about how next year is going to be my year. I have hopes, prayers, plans and quite a few things I’m still trying to figure out.

I think a lot of us are carrying silent worries while trying to make the best of our lives.

But I’m learning that I don’t want to spend so much time worrying about the future that I forget to live in the present.

So, if you’re also entering this month feeling a little uncertain, I hope you give yourself some grace.

We’re going to be okay, By God’s grace.

Plot twist: I said I was telling the story of BetaJollof, but who said the story ends there?

Mama jollof is telling a betajollof story, this time, it’s bigger than jollof.

While you wait for the next chapter, our BULK ORDER MENU is here!

This Ember season, let BetaJollof handle the food while you handle the celebration.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how we measure progress and how easily we can forget to acknowledge our own growth when we’re too busy looking around to see who has noticed.

I think we’re all figuring things out in one way or another. Trying new things, finding our feet, walking into rooms we never imagined we’d be in, and sometimes wondering if we’re even doing any of it right. I’m learning that we don’t have to wait until everything makes sense before we give ourselves credit for how far we’ve come.

And maybe not everyone will understand what certain moments mean to us. That’s okay. We can appreciate the people who celebrate us, welcome encouragement from unexpected places, and still learn to celebrate ourselves.

Anyway, we keep becoming. 🤎 by @withmamajollof

If you are watching this You have to get and understand!!!

Being at the Ilorin Business Summit meant more to me than I expected. Sometimes, you get so caught up in where you want to be that you forget to appreciate where you’re coming from. Being back in Ilorin, seeing the people, the ideas, and the things happening here made me realise how much there is to be proud of.

I’m a product of legacy, and I’m still figuring out what that means for the woman I’m becoming and the things I want to build. I know I have so much more to learn, so much more to do, and so much more to give. Being part of conversations like this reminds me that I’m still growing, and I’m grateful for every opportunity that helps me do that.

Ilorin will always be home, no matter how far I go or how much I grow. And I genuinely hope to be part of more conversations, opportunities, and initiatives that help put this city on the map. There’s so much potential here, and I’d love to be part of what it becomes. ❤️

And sharing a stage with Aunty and my Mama @drelizabethajibola and my beautiful sis @mareebel is such an honor, women whose footsteps ever young lady has to follow

I don’t think I ever really thought about how much my upbringing shaped the way I relate with people until recently.

I’ve always just seen myself as someone who likes to do things on her own. But now that I’m growing older, I’m starting to notice certain things about myself that I never really paid attention to before.

Funny how there’s still so much to learn about yourself, even when you think you know yourself pretty well.

Anyway, I shared a little bit of that in this post. ❤️ by @withmamajollof
