Wazzzzzzuppopp!? Normally I post in the mornings but hittin you with a later post today! Fern is doing a lot better since her surgery. Her hair is growing back and we are less worried about a skull fracture since sheā€™s healing up so nicely. Iā€™m slowly increasing her activity so she can get on the trails with me this fall. I want to say thank you so much for all the love and well wishes to fern and to mešŸ’œ it genuinely means the world to me that so many of you care and are effected by what I share. Having a multi dog household is not easy and sometimes mistakes are made. Iā€™m just feeling extremely thankful it wasnā€™t worse and we are beginning to heal from it. Things look and feel different in our home, but thatā€™s just how it has to be to keep everyone safe, happy, and healthyšŸ’œ Thank you for caring - #multidoghousehold #rescuedogs #dogmanagement #pnwdogs #hikingdogs by @withmyelements

Hi guyssss. Long time no talk, Iā€™ve been super sick and super busy with my business. One of the things I forgot was that when you run your own business and have no employees when you get sick it really sucks. Iā€™m not good at taking a break as is but when people are also relying on me for care I really donā€™t feel like I can take a break. Today will be the first day in a while I havenā€™t had a boarding dog, so while I am still hiking this morning and have a few things to do still, I am going to try to truly rest when I get back! Itā€™s sooooo hard to truly rest as a dog mom I feel like. Is this just me? I did it to myself having 5 dogs, but DAMN lol! Anyway thatā€™s my morning thoughts that I turned into a caption. Hope you guys are well, lmk if you also struggle with true rest. - #hikingdog #hikingwithdogs #rescuedogs #huskymix #seattledogs by @withmyelements

Hi, just checking in to see how you are? Life is hard, everyone has shit going on so ya know I want to check on u. U good? Things have been rough over here, but I always want to be real and share the good and the bad. Not everything has to be okay all the time, and we donā€™t gotta pretend even though sometimes that feels easier. Anyways Iā€™m rambling now, I hope you have a good weekend, Iā€™m ready for it because I get to see Noah Kahan eeeeekkkkk! - #dogmom #seattledogs #adventuredogs #hikingwithdogs #hikingdogs by @withmyelements

Happy Thursday friends! This week has gone by super slow, and I feel like itā€™s because I have a fun weekend ahead that Iā€™ve been looking forward toā˜ŗļø sometimes I feel like weeks will fly by when Iā€™m excited about something but not this timešŸ’€ - Tomorrow is drop day for @littohowler new starry, starry night collection! I have been using Celestial Tide with all of my dogs every walk. I love all littos ropes but the 7mm are my favorite since they are extra lightweight so I can use them with ease on the little and big dogsšŸ–¤ Any plans on what youā€™re going to grab on drop day? Drop is at 10am (Friday 8/21) You can use code Aspen to save $ - #dachshund #rescuedog #smalldogsbigadventures #hikingdog by @withmyelements

I hope youā€™re well, how was your weekend? - Hear from @littohowler code Aspen - #rescuedogs #hikingdogs #reactivedog #germanshepherdhusky #seattle by @withmyelements

Make friends they say, it will be fun they sayā€¦. Just kidding Fern does love Charm, she just has to act like she doesnā€™t when the camera is out since sheā€™s a grouch and needs to keep her no fun persona alivešŸ˜‚šŸ’€ Does your dog like to make friends with other dogs? Or does your dog prefer to be solo? - #dachshunds #dachshundsofig #weeniedogs #pnwdachshunds #pnwdogs by @withmyelements

Happy Dog Mom MondayšŸ–¤ I leave today for a week trip to visit my family! Iā€™m very excited to get there but I hate flying so I am going to be a wreck today. Also I hate leaving my dogs so I am of course sad to leave them but I know they are in good hands with dog dad. I have separation anxiety from them but they r usually totally fine when Iā€™m gone (ouch lol). Who else has separation anxiety from their dogs?šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļø - #adventuredogs #dogmom #hikingwithdogs #pnwdogs #dogmommonday by @withmyelements
