I’m sorry I don’t post a lot or share the intricate details of my life. I know some of you would appreciate knowing what a day looks like, where I’m eating, my thoughts on a place, where I’m shopping, what a GRWM would look like, etc.

I won’t even tell a story and say I’ll do better. I’m honoring my current boundaries, and somebody has to hold it down in psychology. 🤪

Dr. Van is on the way. Ψ✨🧠🔬

I’m becoming a doctor, and the thought still feels surreal… I’m literally just a girl. 😊 It’s been tunnel vision, so I haven’t spent much time counting the semesters, the days, or looking for praise. But I’m reminded to pause and celebrate.

My prayers, fasting, long days, and late nights have not been in vain. I’m also stepping into the classroom as an adjunct professor this academic year.

For the past several years I’ve traveled for my birthday, but this year I chose to stay home.

31 feels like home.

I’m blessed and grateful to have indulged in some of my favorite things: getting dolled up, fine dining, good times and meaningful conversations with people who truly see me, church, a little luxury, a soulful home-cooked meal, fresh flowers, quiet moments in my Word and simply relaxing. 💫

What a blessing it is to simply be able. 🤍

Able to show up.
Able to celebrate in big and small ways.
Able to witness the people you love step into new chapters of life.

My mom’s 50th was truly a blast. We brought a Bali-inspired night to Atlanta, and it was everything I hoped it would be and more.
