EYEHATEGOD "Medicine Noose" @ recordBar KCMO April 7th, 2026

Watched this set at least 5 times trying to figure out what to highlight - and these 3 minutes are so rad. Really loved their set and wanted to show how sick they sounded. They absolutely put on an epic preformance worthy of being legends.

Hope yall dig the grit of the preformance and the color tone I chose for it.

BRUJERIA "Matando Güeros" @ The Granada, Lawrence, Kansas May 19th, 2026.

Yooooooooo!!! This band fuckin' rips. Their whole set i kept nodding to myself sayin "hell yeah!"
This song was their finalè and I couldn't pass up sharing the machetè.

When he smacks the sword against rhe stage it scared rhe bejesus outta me - so rad. Even if he had cut me - wouldnt've cared. Woulda been a casualty of the core.

Band is heavy - I hope it isn't out of place to say they're the Mexican Crowbar - and thats kind to both bands.

I have been sitting on this footage for nearly a month - I love the whole damn set - i had an editors block figuring out what footage to show from my favorite current band.... the new song obviously! Patrick Kindlon will go down as one of the best frontman in punk rock/hardcore history. My 4th time seeing em... I brought 4 friends with me to the show who dont normally attend hardcore shows and they were beaming with joy after the show. I love that.

Im really happy with the tone I was able to get outta the footage.

Go see Drug Church anytime they're near.

Oh and full set is up on my youtube channel - I have a colorized version (where each song has a different color scheme i created to match the mood) and a bw/color corrected version... I like them both - you can watch both.

IRONBAR (kchc) clips from"Untitled" "Lead Paint" "Unseen Warefare" "Dependency" "Untreatable Parasites" & "Stomp Of Approval" @ Sound bite Social KCMO 9.28.26

Band rips - legitimately the most angry band from kc probably ever.... Maybe Black Mark... but yeah shit rips. The Noise effects are really really rad and I think one of the best features of this rad group. We should all be as pissed as Nick when it comes to whats goin' on. Jah bless with your properly guided anger homie! (he was also the most rad "cappo" at SKC games (where I first met the dude) I was like "woah this dude is so angry and convincing hed be scaring the normies into goin' harder" it was rad.

Put a lotta love into this jam - get into it.

from the archive :Thrice @ The Midland July 10th 2010

this was the first show I had barricade access too. I had been paid by the pitch for some photography I did with 'em with trade (food coupons mostly) but I got to pick a few shows i could get photo access to... Thrice I have loved since I first heard "to what end" of the plea for peace comp... and from identity crisis to present ive always returned to listen to their new lp.

Im not sure if im going to make the gig on Sunday - but if you see this Thrice- I could do so much cooler shit than these 8 photos. much love - new lp is sick.

Kc Noise rock legends Season To Risk played earlier this month and every time I see them is a joy.

**bonus points - audio for this set is probably the best I've gotten**

This set really cemented "Spasser" as one of my favorite songs to film ever. I have 3 videos of it - ma napping on finishing this setybe one day ill attempt to edit it - but each time is like jazz - just a little different but static... really really cool how it changes like that - not many bands can have a song that continues to bend and move.... Maybe it was always the Derek Hess posters at recycled sound in the year 2000 that cemented their dominance as a force of the kc scene. Derek Hess art on anything is so wicked.

Anyway - watch till the end cuz its worth it!

Rumors Of The Dead "Outsiders" @ Liberty Hall, Lawrence, Kansas 9.23.26

alright - this is a little visually intense but its rad af. there's a 11.5 second delay between the images and it syncs up so well - I tried to make the 2nd ocipated trail a little more defined - i think its rad and effective - maybe a little jarring here and there but hell yeah it kicks ass when it hits right.

Homies were opening for a sold out Coheed & Cambria gig - so proud of them - they were so solid and i think they did Coheed justice with their choice choosing 'em as the opener.

Whole set is up on my page - give it a gander if ya got the time. I may choose another track to showcase later - but im stoked on how this turned out.

From The Archive : Kicked In @ The Studded Bird in 2010 or 2011

Taylor's first band reppin' the mic. I was so proud of these kids when they came out. Solid youth crew. im on the 7" last song. One of the saddest things is they never played that jam live and I never gotta to do it with 'em and it is one of my favorite songs I've been a part of.

Crucial dudes.

Show Me The Body "No God" @ Idle Free KCK 9/22/26

Band delivered and then some. Really really dig this band and thier self expression - new lp rips - this song is on it. ive been attempting to shoot one song vertically a set and this one was it.

theyre on tour with Whispers & Lip Critic - go see this tour if it comes through!!!

Also - new venue - right across state line by where the spitfire/anchor was - love that location - perfect spot for the hardcore. Pretty sure its owned by the ship - but for more extreme music - so people ain't moshing through the floorboards (last foul play fest).

Also! Do other people holler "Show Me More Songs" at 'em when asking for an Encore or is it just me? I am from Missouri - The Show Me State yo - They should be huge here.

I fucking love these kids. So rad. doing really great things for Witchita Hardcore. Proud of the progress theyve made and what theyre building in Witchita is so rad. Its great that smaller cities are getting their own scenes now. Good hardcore can come from anywhere and I am all about it. Much love much respect.

they played a bunch of new shit too and its all rad.
