🎓Tonight the class of 2026 graduates from O’Dea HS. They are the 100th graduating class in the schools history!

It’s crazy to think that it’s been 27 years since my guys and I from 9️⃣9️⃣ graduated. So many amazing memories that we still share to this day when any of us get together. A favorite pic of mine from grad night is this one you see with my brother NB. Check the second slide for a quick money making opp he shared in my yearbook 🤣✍️ Go Irish!

🌁As a kid, visiting family in the Bay Area (Sonoma, Danville, etc) we used to go hike many locations, including the Pointe Reyes area & legendary lighthouse (tattooed on my left shin). In fact, back in June 2024, my Mom, brother and I went back & had an amazing time walking down (and back up) all the stairs to the lighthouse. So the @johncarpenterofficial 1980 flick, “The Fog,” which was filmed mostly in the area, always has been a massive nostalgia bomb for me. I’ve probably watched it hundreds of times. The coolest thing was that today I was able to get a picture with the two stars from the flick, the iconic Tom Atkins and @adrienne_barbeau. Dave Mazzeo grew up at O'Dea. Now he works there. Twenty-five years in the same building, which is either the most grounded thing I've ever heard or something I don't fully understand yet.

He's also an MC. Husky football, Capitol Hill Block Party, fundraisers in front of thousands of people. The XLR cord ripped off his mic mid-set once. He grabbed someone else's and kept going.

I don't know how he holds both of those things at the same time. The alumni director who knows every kid's name and the guy who can read a room of a thousand strangers in thirty seconds. I asked him about it and he said he just flips the brain.

He talked about brotherhood. About a house system that mixes freshmen with seniors every single day for four years. About alumni calling him at 10pm on a Tuesday. About a teacher who takes the light rail across the city to watch his students play chess.
