Meet Austyn Paugh!

Austyn is a sophomore nursing major. She is also a part of the craft club, the Washington Fellows, the Matthew Brown Fellowship, and SAAC.

“I joined Theta because it felt like home. All the girls were super sweet, encouraging, and welcoming. I knew right away that it was something I wanted to be a part of. I can’t wait to make so many memories with my new sisters!”

Welcome to Theta, Austyn! 💛🖤 by @wjtheta

Knocking it out of the park for a cause we love💛⚾️! This past Sunday was our philanthropy event, KAT at Bat! We managed to raise $509.20 for CASA, an organization that provides a voice to children in the foster care system. We are so thankful for everyone who came out to support our event.

Here are some upcoming events our sisters are so excited for!!! ⚾️🪙📸

Join Kappa Alpha Theta at “𝐊𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐓 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐀”, a single elimination whiffle ball tournament! This event is at noon on Sunday, September 27th, at Brook’s Softball Field.

This event helps raise money for our national philanthropies. Theta Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose vision is to support and empower women through valuable leadership and education initiatives. Our other philanthropy is Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) which is a national organization that provides a voice to children experiencing abuse and neglect in the foster care system. CASA for Kids is our local branch that trains volunteers and serves kids around Washington, PA.

Sign up with teams of 6-8 using the link in our bio! Each team is $25 and spectators are $5. There will be concessions and a raffle basket offered as well!

𝐂𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐬 will take place from September 22nd-24th. All proceeds will go to both of our philanthropies as well!

𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐚 is such a fun competition that you don’t want to miss! Try to see if you can spot your Theta friends out and about on September 24th and get points for your team!

We hope to see you there🩷 by @wjtheta

What better way to kick off the semester than with a coffee bar? Join us Thursday, September 10th or Friday, September 11th from 5-7 pm on Theta’s porch for a coffee bar and to support CASA/GAL!

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a national organization that provides a voice to children experiencing abuse and neglect in the foster care system.

Each coffee will be $3 where you can customize the flavor with a variety of flavored syrups and creamer. There will be a cash and a card payment option available. We can’t wait to see you there!☕️🍁 by @wjtheta
