3 ply handspun skeins are finished. I loved spinning from rolags! Sitting at worsted to light bulky. I have another 5 ounces stashed, but need a break.

Next up is 3 pounds of undyed Rambouillet top. I wanted to hold off until fall when the temperatures cooled off.

Hand dyed some roving I had. Atzec gold never disappoints. I’ve been playing with rolags lately and I’m loving the prep for handspinning. Hoping to get to plying next weekend. I’ve got about another bobbin or so left.

Sometimes the final is just a meh.🫤
Original planned to add a chocolate strand for a 3 ply. Started that, hated it, pulled that bobbin out. It’s now a 2 ply, light fingering. I could have spun a tan single to swap in, but I was just ready to move on, and I’m good with that. Next….

Deep stash polwarth. 🩷💛💜.
I heard a YouTuber recently suggest using 2 braids of 1 colorway and pairing it with a solid braid. All spun separately and 3 plying. I had that, and paired with 4 oz of undyed. All braids are Polwarth. I spun it almost frog hair. I am an unconventional spinner, yes. I prefer a backward draw almost supported long draw on a worsted prep. It slides beautifully. If you’re going to try that, keep tension very loose.
