According to ncaa.org, only about 3% of all high school basketball players go on to play in college; at any level.

So, with just under 1 million high school basketball players competing in the U.S., you recognize how astronomically low that percentage is.

To have (4) players sign scholarships to play all from one team, in a small town, at a small school is absolutely noteworthy! Kudos to God 🙏

Congratulations to Tim Bates III, Tom Walton III, Dale Levy Jr, and LaDaryl Robinson, Jr on signing their letters of intent tonight!

A special thanks to each and everyone who came out to support, encourage, cheer on, and pray over each one of them as they prepare for their next hoop phase.

Favor ain’t fair. But it’s definitely real!

Four for 4. Phenomenal.

FROM THE DESK OF THE ADMINISTRATION

West Memphis Christian School announces that Head Boys Basketball Coach Daniel Bandy is stepping down from his position after four seasons leading the program.

Coach Bandy, a 2003 alumnus of WMCS, guided the Black Knights to (4) consecutive state championship game appearances during his tenure, and helped send (10) Black Knights to college on athletic scholarship, establishing a standard of excellence both on and off the court.

His commitment to developing student-athletes in faith, character, and competition has left a forever impact on the program and school community.

We are grateful for Coach Bandy’s leadership, dedication, and the legacy he leaves behind. He has represented our school with integrity and passion.

A national search for the next Head Boys Basketball Coach will begin immediately.

Please join us in thanking Coach Bandy for his service and leadership, and wishing him continued success in his next chapter. taken in West Memphis Christian School by @wmcs_basketball
