Serving youth artists in the Kingston-Galloway-Orton Park community

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’re looking for BIPOC youth interested in photography, film, visual arts, and poetry to be apart of a new community arts project exploring the question “What makes your neighbourhood unique?”

Led by Scarborough-based artists and storytellers Milli and Deshawn as part of the City of Toronto’s Cultural Hotspot program. This project celebrates the stories, creativity, and perspectives that already exist within the Kingston-Galloway-Orton Park community, while helping shift the public narrative to better reflect the real experiences of the people who call the neighbourhood home.

The project will culminate in a public exhibition and film screening to celebrate the stories shaping Scarborough’s future.
