All green for FSGP, and we are starting in position #3 tomorrow morning! This team has come together like no other to get Sunseeker 23 to such a point, and we cannot wait to see what the next three days of raycing look like 😁☀️ GO BRONCOS! 🐴🤎💛 taken in Brainerd International Raceway by @wmusolarcar

Join us on September 11 at 6 PM in the SOC room for the 2026 fall semester new member meeting! ☀️ All majors are invited, we would love to have you. ☀️
we are having a presentation on the team, who we are, what we do, and your place with us. Following the presentation, we will be making our way towards the lab on Parkview campus. Some of our team members will be driving and will be willing to drive those that do not wish to take the bus with another group of our members. by @wmusolarcar

Today at Bronco Bash, we were discussing beginning classes again tomorrow and how it made us nostalgic for race days. So I decided to do a little reminiscing and found a few pictures to remind us a bit more of FSGP and ASC.

We owe one big THANK YOU to @fairlife and @corepower for their continued support of the Sunseeker team during our competitions ☀️❤️
This has been our second summer with CorePower and Fairlife, and we have loved every product we have received 🙏 From scrutineering and raycing on the track, to early mornings editing and midday naps, we were fueled and ready to take on the next challenge ☀️💪 Thank you again for supporting the team!!

Sunseeker 23 crossed the American Solar Challenge finish line on August 1st in Amarillo, TX ☀️
Sunseeker finished 8th in the Electrek FSGP and 10th in ASC, both of which are massive accomplishments for this team and this vehicle! Sunseeker Solar Car has not crossed an ASC finish line in roughly 10 years, making this all the more impactful for our team 💪
This could not have been done without the support of our sponsors, alumni, faculty, family, and friends that helped us along the way 🫶🏻
Thank you to everyone who sponsored a meal during our race weeks, you have no idea the stress this alleviated for us. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support that we have received, and the love that we have felt since we started racing and since getting home ☀️❤️

Apologies for our lack of updating! It has been an eventful couple of days!

Sunseeker 23 did pretty good for Stage 1 of ASC! We were able to beat our previous mileage from ASC 2024! Unfortunately, we suffered a small motor issue on day one of stage two leaving Edwardsville 😔 The team worked all day yesterday and today to make sure that we successfully trailered a working vehicle to the stage stop in Carthage 💪 I am pleased to report that Sunseeker 23 is fully operational and will be exiting Carthage tomorrow morning to begin Stage 3 as planned!! We are being dealt a difficult hand, but we are making the most of it every day! 💪🤎💛 taken in Carthage, Missouri by @wmusolarcar

Day 2 of the Electrek American Solar Challenge is underway and we have never looked better ☀️

We have already beaten our mileage from last ASC in 2024! Sunseeker got a little bit of a later start today, due to needing extra charge on the battery and extremely cloudy conditions ⛅️ We are excited to continue to push forward to Normal, IL today 🫶❤️

We were just resting up to take on the Electrek ASC 💪 Here are my favorite sleeping snipes from race week, and remember: Nobody is safe when they are sleeping in public 😁

Sunseeker 23 is officially ready to start the Electrek American Solar Challenge 🥳 After completing 165 laps, and over 500 miles at the Brainerd International Raceway, we fully qualified for ASC and will be leaving Minneapolis bright and early! ☀️

Thank you to the scrutineers, our supporters, everyone who sponsored a meal, and our alumni for helping us get this far in our journey! We can’t wait to take on this new challenge and show what Bronco Engineers can do 💪☀️
