We lost our brother, Brian Walker. Our fearless, rebellious, bass playing jokester left this mortal coil to join the other artists in the spiritual beyond in that space where there is no more cruel absurdity and pain. I sit here with teary eyes remembering all the smoke filled late night jam sessions, laughs, silliness, art, and pure joy that we experienced with our dear friend and brother. I cannot tell you how many times I was in awe of his raw talent as we played our guts out in the studio and on stage. He had a truly unique approach to everything in life and we were lucky to have created together for some time. Brian was the most genuine person I have ever known. He had a deep love for all and suffered no oppressor lightly. He would tell you he was a warrior, a David searching for his Goliath, a modern Don Quixote clad in his armor of pots and pans ready to take on the dragons, however imaginary they might have been. He was a devoted friend and lived only in the moment. Never backing down from a fight and though he lost many, he was never scared to sacrifice his body for what he thought was right. His steeled agency over himself sometimes made it difficult to navigate this bizarre world, which he never could negotiate with, and as he got older he struggled with the same demons that many true artists fight with, which could make it difficult relating to him if you didn’t have some patience, but he was a devoted friend and brother and he went out on his own terms. Rest well our beloved brother, The Imp, Brian Walker. There has never been, nor will there ever be another quite like you. We are so glad we had the creative moments together. We love you, always.

Another satisfied listener—“Enjoying the wobitty LP tonight. Nice eclectic mix. I really dig the reggae/Police vibe of Shattered and the total Hawkwind space rock of Mars Probe. And some of the instrumental passages throw in some surf and The Shadows. At least to my ears. Pushes many of my favorite buttons.” Steve Deaton get your copy @endofallmusic @tbones_records_and_cafe and www.wobittyhq.com by @wobittyhq

Taking a break from promoting the album as yesterday was a sad day in the old Wobitty camp. Our fearless bass player Brian Walker @Capt’n Walker (not on IG) and his family lost their mother. This comes as our dear friend, keyboardist, and collaborator Bill Perry @bill_perry and his family lost their father not long before. Send them some big hugs as they and their families move forward, through grief and loving memories, to stand on their own as testaments to what their progenitors embed upon them. Here they are seen in happier times in the Wobitty van, smiling and bringing joy to many. They could both use some joy at the moment. Wobitty loves and your families, Imp and B. Energy never ceases to exist, it just changes form….
