I invite fans of ACOTAR, Azriel the Shadowsonger, and romantasy to check out my original ACOTAR Ffic novel : A Song of Mending, available on Ao3., linked in my Bio.

Riyahannon Stormsong is a human sorceress who discovers herself magically Bonded the the Spymaster of the Night Court, Azriel the Shadowsinger.
Riyah and Azriel must learn to work together to face a terrible enemy who would subjugate both Humans and Faeborn of the world of Prythian. It's a slow burn enemies to lovers romance between 2 people who have every reason to resent the strange connection that has Bound them, mind, body and soul to each other.

Permanently.

With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, can a Human woman and an Illyrian man learn to set aside centuries of animosity and betrayal and live freely in a partnership as lovers?
A Song of Mending is the first book in a 4 book series, taking place about 6 months after the end of a Court of Silver Flames. It's from a shared POV the Human FMC/OC Riyahannon Stormsong and her LI/MMC Azriel the Shadowsinger.

It's NOT a short read, clocking in at 294k words for all 3 parts, but if you like epic fantasy with a layered plot, detailed world building, thrilling twists and a Main Couple you can root for, A Song of Mending might be your next favorite romantasy read.
A Song of Mending contains adult themes and content and is not suitable for people under 18.
Links to my Ao3 Author's page are in my Bio.

Wasn't completely happy with my portrait of #Azriel so I tweaked it a bit.
THERE'S my Shadowsinger!
He's the MMC, 2nd POV character and love interest in my AO3 Ffic series, beginning with "A Song of Mending " and continuing in "A Song of Justice " both are available via link in my bio to Archive of Our Own, and my Author's page.
Want some #enemiestolovers #forcedproximity and a slow burn romance with political intrigue, conspiracies, personal trauma, ptsd, healing, healthy relationships, plus magic and wonder? Well, have I got an ACOTAR fan fic for you!
There's a little heartbreak, a lil angst, a LOT of yearning and 2 very different people learning how they fit together in a world that would drive them apart.
If you want protagonists you can root for, and a story with real stakes, come give it a peek!

My FMC OC, finally got her colored portrait. Riyahannon Stormsong's story in Prythian begins in "A Song of Mending " and continuing in "A Song of Justice" available on Ao3, linked in my bio. Leader of a faction of Human Magicians, she seeks out alliances with the Fae Courts to help save the world from a terrible fate.
Along the way she encounters mysteries, conspiracies and the complex relationships among the Courts and their rulers.
And meets the most frustrating, exasperating, obnoxious, endearing and devoted Illyrian man she could imagine: Azriel Baldurson, Spymaster of the Night Court...
Bound to each other by a force neither can understand or resist the adversaries must learn how to work together, trust and even love. With great difficulty.
If enemies to lovers, healthy relationships, realistic conflict and healing are your things, this is a story for you.

Living in the country with less light pollution means I can get decent pictures of the night sky.
So here's a #waningmoon
Hot af this week, but this big, orange moon🌙 belongs in an Autumn sky.

No, I didn't steal a mail truck. It's currently broken down in my driveway.
2026 in a microcosm: weird, random, serious inconvenience and failure of the US federal government involving 'death' .
I didn't ask for such a precise, accurate metaphor on my doorstep.
Pffffft.

May I introduce Asrerida Incubryos, Lady of the Night Court.
Or as you might know her: Rhysand’s mother.
Asterida is the POV character in my ACOTAR ffic short story "Guiding Star" .
It's about the Bat Boys (Bat-lets) 1st Midwinter together, their growing relationship as found family, Astreida's connection to Nori (Azriel’s mother), her troubled relationship to Rhysand’s father Rhyland, the inception of the snowball fight, and the general coziness of a holiday among Rhysand, Cassian and Azriel when they were children.
Guiding Star is available at my Author's page on Ao3 under the Anthology collection "A Court of Lore and Legends" , the link is in my bio.
Hope to see you there!

About 6 months ago I decided to *try* to grow wildflowers in an area of the yard overrun with weeds.
While it definitely isn't a perfectly esthetic flower garden, I've got about 2k square feet of several species of flowers.
There are still some weeds, and I had an allergic reaction to something I pulled up, but overall I'm glad I made the effort and didn't just sow grass in the place I'd set aside for cultivation.
Definitely planting more next year, using what I learned.

If you were a shapeshifter, what would you become?
My FMC likes her #griffon Shift. As an agile, swift falcon type, she's the fastest thing in the skies. Perhaps someday she'll challenge her love interest, Azriel to a race.
Magic, adventure, intrigue, trauma, healing and, of course🌶🌶🌶 await in my #acotar Ffic "A Song of Mending " its sequel "A Song of Justice " and the companion anthology "A Court of Lore and Legends " available on #Ao3 , link in my bio.

Ever wondered what if Highlord #Rhysand has a son he's not aware of? If Amarantha secretly bore a child, what sort of man would he be?

A devastating accusation is leveled at the Highlord of the Night Court, and it's up to my OC character Riyahannon Stormsong and her lover #Azriel to uncover the truth in the second book of my ffic #ACOTAR novel "A Song of Justice" . Book 2 in The Song of Storms series.

Did Rhysand abandon his child to Dark Magic, corruption and torment, due to his hatred of the boy's alleged mother?
Or are sinister lies and conspirators attempt to undermine the most powerful Court in #Prythian

A Song of Justice us available in my bio link at #Ao3

Major secondary characters from the Canon ACOTAR books have to be included in portrait misadventures. May I have the honor to introduce the Acheron Sisters: Nesta, Feyre and Elain.
Nesta was easily my favorite in the Canon ACOTAR books; I had a lot of empathy for her mental health struggles and self sabatory choices.
Girl is her own worst enemy, I believe many of us know that feeling.
The Sisters play pivotal roles in the plot of my ffic, each one with her own journey, agenda and dreams.
1st slide is Nesta
2nd slide is Feyre
3rd slide is Elain

I promised dragons in my book, and I shall deliver!
This lady is Naga, a Greater Sea Serpent and the working partner of Guardian Jaiden.
She's a kind soul, but like any other with Healing magic, she can and will use her knowledge of how they're put together to dismantle her enemies.
If you want to learn more about a Dragon who acts as a therapist and who among the Faeborn of Prythian this becomes relevant to, come check out my ACOTAR Ffic "A Song of Mending", available on Ao3, linked in my bio.
