─── ⋆ ♱ ⋆ ─── i was thinking back and forth about what the first post after my involuntary hiatus should possibly be and i reached the conclusion that it's about time i did a redraw of my old MTA. some of you may remember (you're the real ones, thanks for sticking around if you do!) that the previous version was actually done on my old, small phone with my finger... needless to say it needed improvements here and there. and everywhere. after a long period of coming across new challenges in endless cycles i could finally sit down and do something artistic instead of feeling unfulfilled because of the lack of time and ability to create anything. thus, here's the finished piece, good thing that i didn't have to cut corners with the details of clothing or inventory this time, even if it took ages to complete. if there's anything more you'd like to know - feel free to ask. as always, stay strong! ─── #meettheartist #meettheartist2024 #artistsofinstagram #digitalart #illustration #semirealism #mixedmedia #mixedmediaart #portrait #selfportrait #darkart #darkartists #digitalpainting #lineart #artoftheday #drawingsofinstagram by @wolfarjack

─── ⋆ ✴︎ ⋆ ─── i briefly mentioned a recent commission that held rather special significance. the soul behind it (and a professional derby player, which is tremendously cool) first asked me to paint a custom helmet years ago, before the world came to a halt in 2020. now, they reached out to say it was time for a new one. there are few things in creation that mean more than a returning client. someone choosing to place their trust in my hands once again is a privilege that never fails to fill me with gratitude. this piece was anything but simple. every stage demanded patience, from designing the concept to painting what felt like an endless constellation of details. along the way, as you can tell, we decided to simplify a few of them so the final composition could stand out all the better. the somewhat glitched, sketch-like bats (inspired by the helmet logo) were complete freestyle, and i couldn't be happier with how that turned out. these designs will definitely return in the future, since i received the green light for using them in my merch. the moment i heard "bats, cathedral windows, and plenty of intricate lines" i knew this project was destined to come to life. we both had the same vision from the very beginning, all that remained was to patiently bring it into existence. finishing it in time for the championships - while simultaneously wrestling with my master's thesis - meant weeks of working from day into night, and i mean that literally. challenging as it was, i would do it all over again. may it accompany you faithfully for many years to come. 🦇 commissions have been officially opened, and i would be delighted to take them on. there are already a few more projects quietly awaiting their turn, but more on those when the time comes. as always, stay strong. #customhelmet #commission #lineart #bats #goth by @wolfarjack

─── ⋆ ✴︎ skyguy ✴︎ ⋆ ─── as of 2025, it has been two decades since the premiere of Revenge of the Sith. for this occasion precisely i thought it would be fitting to - at long last - finish a project that has been on my mental to-do list for a decent couple of years. you may have even been aware of these plans if you've been here long enough! i highly recommend to view this with your screen brightness at high.
this specific portrait took months (starting in may...) and too many pauses due to this year being nothing short of exhaustive, intense and filled with hardships (to put it mildly), yet i was determined to complete it by putting the maximum amount of effort into every detail. i still consider myself very much a beginner in digital art, thus the piece went through various phases along the way. the plan i'm referring to is a series of prints inspired by the universe closest to my heart. Padmé’s earlier sketch was born from the same vision, and i hope to continue the series as soon as time allows. until then, I would love to hear from you - whose face would you wish to see next? Padmé, Kenobi, Ahsoka? maybe Cassian Andor? someone else from the beloved Clone Wars, perhaps? suggestions and opinions are most welcome<3 take care and stay strong! --- #oldartvsnewart #starwars #starwarsart #starwarsprequels #revengeofthesith #clonewars #anakinskywalker #artprint #darthvader #darthvaderart #illustration #fanart #artistsupportartists #rots by @wolfarjack

─── ⋆ ✴︎ ⋆ ─── the sketch once merely foreshadowed - now, it is complete. though my master’s lies far from the realm of art, and i hardly ever get artistic assignments, this emerged from a lecture on religious diversity. the task was to create a mandala-inspired illustration, tied to a faith of one’s choice. did i do it justice? a small note, for clarity’s sake: i am not, nor do i wish to be, affiliated with any belief system. any symbols woven into this piece were chosen for their aesthetic resonance alone. the religious trauma speaks loud enough (half jokingly). (but only half). as always, stay strong. #art #lineart #medieval #medievalart #tattoo #tattoodesign #artistsupport #darkart #artistsofinstagram #gothart #digital #mixedmedia #christianity #catholic #mandala by @wolfarjack

─── ⋆ 𓆣 ⋆ ─── the insects are back! today's guests are a beetle with some sharp teeth for a weapon and a cicada-esque entity. the beetle is a long-awaited commission for my friend 💚 thank you for being so patient with me while i was working on my thesis. the cicada is based on one of my last-year concept sketches for the revamped stickers, of course insects had to be one of the planned sets. i also opened commissions for august and september, two slots are taken at the moment but i'll gladly take a few more. as always, stay strong. #art #lineart #insects #insectsart #insectstattoo #tattoo #tattoodesign #stickers #beetle #beetletattoo #cicada #cicadatattoo #bugtattoo #bugs #darkart #artistsofinstagram by @wolfarjack

[ "so love has blinded you?" ] following last year's anakin sketch i got the idea to draw padme in a similar style. the next goal is to polish both artworks in order to create complementary posters of the couple! i plan to go either full colour or for something minimalistic, using solely shades of red to highlight the details - time will tell. who knows, i might create a series of posters with more SW characters in the future. whose face would you like to see on your wall? as always, stay strong 🌿 --- #padme #padmeamidala #starwars #starwarsfanart #padmefanart #starwarsart #starwarsprequels #thephantommenace #natalieportman #anakinskywalker #anidala #semirealism #sketch #illustration #fanart taken in Naboo by @wolfarjack

[ 𝐬𝐢 𝐯𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐦. ] i spent a fair amount of my summer days creating sketches for new sets of stickers, here's a small preview of what i've been working on. i might have noticed some art style progress after comparing the new designs to my old merch, therefore i am hoping you'll like the final result 🌿 the bat is in fact another tattoo design commissioned by @sexnotviolence_ - it's always a pleasure when you ask me to create something for you 💚 as always, stay strong. --- #art #artistsoninstagram #lineart #merch #stickers #bat #battattoo #coffin #coffintattoo #planttattoo #tattoodesign #tattooflash #gothart #digitalart #illustration #mixedmedia #mixedmediaart by @wolfarjack
