NOFUN FEST CONTINUES! The thirds installment of NoFun’s residency at Berlin Under A continues Monday June 15th- This one is going to be a very special, instead of our usual hard hitting dance punk with the full band, Matt is going to play a solo set of brand new songs he’s been cooking up on the drum machines. It’s going to go all over the place sonically, from ambient music, to electro-industrial sounds, to hard hitting 4 on the floor dance beats. You won’t want to miss this one! Opening up is @lazy.rockets - the new solo project from fellow NoFun member Nick Comaratta! And finishing up the night is one of our personal favorites- and someone we played out very first show with! @sunchoked will close out the night and definitely blow your mind #industrialsynth #4onthefloor #rolanddrummachines by @wolfecut

Our newest EP “Volume I” drops June 29th! We’ve got three brand new track for you ear holes to enjoy! As the title suggests this is only the first Volume, there will be two more coming your way ASAP! Follow our Linktree in the profile to pre save! We recorded these songs in a very different way than our first self titled record. A lot of that album was built during post production with “in the box” effects, similar to how most albums are made these days. Volumes I, II, and III are all going to be captured strictly in live takes, with the band playing together, as soon as the songs are ready. We chose to record the old fashioned way for these EPs to capture the magic of a band that loves being around each other playing a brand new song that is just became album ready! Even if the take isn’t technically perfect, that’s not what we are looking for on these EPS. The better question is, was the energy right on that take? Capturing all this magic in the air is Wilson Flores- @wilson_flores - an incredible recording, mixing and mastering engineer as well as a badass musician and homie! We couldn’t have made anything like this without him Volume I was recorded at the (underground) favorite Dark Room Studios in Gowanus-@drsbrooklyn And mixed at Hyperballad- @hyperballad_music We hope you like what you hear and can’t wait to get in the studio for Volume II! taken in Gowanus by @wolfecut
