Dreamy Guest Bedroom 🥰

A guest bedroom that might make it very difficult for your guests to leave …

Part of our Cotswolds project, completed at the end of last year, this serene suit pairs a quiet seating area and elegant desk with dreamy views across the lake. One of six bedrooms in the house, it’s a room we suspect guests may never want to leave, a slight risk when inviting someone to stay !

We’re also delighted that this project has been shortlisted for a 2026 BIID interior Design Award in the Midlands & East Anglia Residential category - a wonderful recognition of the project and our whole team. Thank you @thebiid

WINNERS! 🏆

We are beyond thrilled to share that we were Award winners at the 2026 International Design & Architecture Awards.

We entered three projects and were delighted to have all three shortlisted: a family apartment in central London, a holiday home in the Cotswolds and a beachfront home in Florida. To then take home a WIN is a moment we will never forget.

I was overseas working and unable to be at the gala, so I couldn’t have been happier than to have Jolene there. She has been my right hand for over 20 years and is immensely talented; she accepted the trophy, gave a wonderful speech, representing our studio and this project beautifully.

To have our work recognised on a global stage amongst such talent is a true honour, and a reflection of the dedication of our whole team.

Enormous thanks to our wonderful clients for trusting us with their homes, our brilliant trade partners and craftspeople, our incredible team and the amazing awards organizers @designetal

We couldn’t be more delighted or prouder. ✨

Good design doesn’t date, it settles in.

The kitchen in a beautiful Victorian house in Kensington was completed a few years ago and looks just as considered and calm as the day it was finished. That is always the goal.

The brief was simple: airy, bright and calm. The space sits on the lower ground floor, the final phase of a house we redesigned from top to bottom.

The transformation was significant. We redesigned the layout entirely and took the space back to its studs, installing new windows, underfloor heating, new lighting design etc. We added a generous island, removed all the cabinetry from the pretty bay window, where the sink had originally sat and partly blocked the light. In its place a curved bench with cushions and soft roman blinds.

One detail we are often asked about: the flooring. We always champion natural materials but our client has two large dogs and natural timber however beautiful, would not have stood the test of time. The answer was porcelain tile in a wood finish, the result exceed all expectations. Indistinguishable aesthetically and completely at home in a busy family kitchen. Good design allows for graceful living.

All appliances are concealed so the space reads as a fully panelled room rather than a kitchen in the conventional sense. We entrusted the brilliant @hetherington.newman with the craftsmanship of our design.

This project is a reminder that the best interiors aren’t defined by a moment in time. They’re defined by the quality of the thinking behind them.

We are absolutely thrilled to share that our Lakes Project in the Cotswolds has been shortlisted for a 2026 BIID Award.

Last week we welcomed the site assessors to the property as part of @theBIID Awards shortlist. It was wonderful to be able to share the journey from concept to implementation and to showcase all the details in person.

A true labour of love, this project has been an incredibly exciting transformation and to have our work recognised at the highest level by the BIID is an incredible honour and proud moment for the entire team.

Can’t wait to showcase the whole project, but for now a small peek !

A wide shot tells one story. But the details reveal so much more 🤩

We were reminded recently in a conversation with a fellow designer - photographers naturally gravitate toward the grand reveal, the full room, the hero shot. And yet so much of what we do lives in the quiet moments, in the details. The handle selected after weeks of searching, the perfect trim, the wallpaper that pulls the room together without announcing itself.

This carousel is a small edit of those moments from a few current and recent projects.

1. A backgammon board set up by the fireplace. Every room should feel lived in. Cotswolds

2. The TV room, layered and inviting. Chelsea, Garden Square home

3. Bay window curtain detail. Kensington, DeVere gardens

4. Foot bench at the end of the Primary Bed, the finishing touch that completes the room. Kensington, DeVere gardens

5. Cocktail seating in the Club Room, designed for long evenings. Cotswolds

6. Tub brassware and wallpaper detail, where every surface earns its place. Westgate beach home, Florida

7. Corner of the formal Drawing room with beautiful wall panelling and sculptural furnishings. Chelsea, garden square home

8. Bespoke joinery concealing a bar in the Club room, the reveal is part of the fun ! Cotswolds

9. Ottoman and rug that anchor the TV room and invite you to settle in. Kensington, DeVere gardens

10. Bespoke wardrobes and fabric panels and beautiful handles. Kensington, DeVere gardens

11. Nursery wallpaper and adorable Roman blind with trim. Kensington, Cherry Tree estates project no. 5

12. Primary Bedroom headboard and antique side table, old and new in quiet conversation. Kensington, Cherry Tree estates project no. 3

13. Roman blind detail from the 3rd floor study alcove. Kensington, DeVere gardens

High ceilings, endless possibilities and the best kind of client - someone who trusted us to turn up the dial ✨

This Cotswolds weekend home had been loved for over 10 years and was ready for a major redesign and update. We brought in colour, pattern and a whole lot of joy, while creating spaces you never want to leave.

Shooting this one with our dream team was the cherry on top. We’re still buzzing 🐝

Beautiful Guest Bedroom 💚💖

Pink and Green are always a winning combination and feel particularly perfect in this Guest Bedroom.

In order to maximize sleeping capacity in this vacation home; we created a bespoke alcove with joinery either side in which a symmetrical woven bed comfortably sits (2nd image). Either side is a wardrobe for guests to hang their clothing - not too much storage…so guests aren’t encouraged to overstay 😉

The rattan side tables started life as an orange shade; we spray painted them a lovely green and gave them a new life. We found 2 old quilts with embroidered palm trees, one was in good condition and could be cleaned and used on the bed, one was badly stained so the goods bits were salvaged and made them into cushion covers.

The scheme is fresh and joyful - perfect holiday vibes !
