POSTS STORIES REELS

New Adventures in Sci/Fi with your host Spacewolf Mac is a monthly pod dropping on the Halloweenies’ Patreon account The Rewind (patreon.com/halloweeniespod), specifically for our $13 Ghosts Tier! In anticipation, we’re offering the first episode here on the main feed to give you a taste of what to expect in the coming months.

Mac’s first guest is, of course, his brother, Justin Gerber. In this first episode, the two brothers talk about his touchstone science fiction flick, 1983’s Return of the Jedi.

They also cover his relationship to the Sci/Fi genre over the years, his specific ties to a ROTJ theme park ride, how he would save Star Wars, and more.

This year over @halloweeniespod we’re going beyond, to the furthest reaches of experience. We’re covering the entire Hellraiser franchise!!! No tears please! I hear it’s a waste of good suffering! Join our Patreon as well as we plan to also tackle the first three Omen films, as well as a myriad of other patron only content! by @wolfman_mac_gerber

The Wolfman recently stated at The Stanley Hotel that inspired @stephenking to write The Shining. The mini-series was filmed there (not to mention Dumb and Dumber)! by @wolfman_mac_gerber

Neo November Film 2: “Invaders from Mars” (1986)

Aesthetically this rocks. I remember that it was very scary to me when I was a kid because it seemed impossible to defeat this thing that was slowly taking over the adults. Kids already have so much working against them much less Aliens from Mars by @wolfman_mac_gerber

Neo November Film 1: “Critters” (1986)

Somehow I’ve seen Critters 2 but not the first in the franchise. Very fun seeing the bounty hunter and Crite set up. Curious to see how this walks into 2, 3, & Space. Only time will tell. by @wolfman_mac_gerber

You’ve come this far, perhaps you’ll come a little further. Like into the far reaches of space! It’s that time of the year. NEO NOVEMBER has returned. Join me all month long as I dive further into science fiction and beyond! If you enjoy this check out @halloweeniespod Patreon “The Rewind” and grab the 13 ghosts tier to hear me and guest chat about their touchstone sci fi films each month on NEW ADVENTURES IN SCI-FI ! by @wolfman_mac_gerber

“That’s a wrap!” -MJ. Halloween may be over but is it really? Until next year . . . by @wolfman_mac_gerber

You’ve listened to our first draft, now here’s our picks.

To cap off our visit this year in Haddonfield, the Halloweenies gather around the candy bowl to pick their favorite Halloween characters across the entire franchise.

Inspired by The Big Picture’s draft episodes, the gang has five categories to fill — from final boy/girl to one-scene screams to the best kid.

It’s a Halloween treat you don’t want to miss. by @wolfman_mac_gerber
